Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

Sivius doesn't need to wait long before he sees Myria, scythe in hand, walking towards him.

"Ah, you must be Sivius. Nice to meet you." Myria says calmly, offering a handshake.

 

Sivius accepts the handshake.
"Yes, thanks for coming. Myria, right?"

 

"Correct. Stephanie's Shadow spoke very highly of you. She said you wished to contact Gaia?" Myria asks.

 

"Yes, I wish to ease her concerns over me. I have immense powers at my control, but I wish not to harm your reality."

 

"I can sense you do. I believe I know of a way you may be able to contact her, though we will need to visit Shadow Aj first so we can go to the right location." Myria explains.

 

"I'm following your lead, then. Tell me what to do."

 

"Follow me." Myria says, heading back into the palace.

 

Sivius does as told, remaining otherwise silent.

 

Myria heads through the palace, taking the leftmost hallway and eventually arriving at the massage parlour where Artemis and I seem to be getting massages. The pair of us look incredibly relaxed.

"Aj, could you open a portal to your home, please? I need to access Artemis' forest." Myria asks calmly.

"Hm? Oh, sure thing." I say, relaxed, loosely opening a portal near to me.

"Have fun, sweetie." Myria says to Artemis, smiling and ruffling her hair slightly.

"I will, mother." Artemis says, smiling back.

Myria steps through the portal, signalling Sivius to follow.

 

Still silent, he follows.

 

Sivius steps out into a pleasant smelling, large garden. A massive forest lies behind it, pretty coloured lights along a pathway into it.

Myria heads into the forest, birds chirping and flying through the trees and squirrels quickly scaling them as Sivius gets close. As the forest begins to get dense, Myria stops momentarily.

"Take my hand, otherwise we may get split apart and you'll get lost." Myria says, holding out her hand for Sivius.

 

He holds Myria's hand.
"My life in the hands of a Death Guardian feels the slightest bit ironic." He says, not very stressed.

 

"We only kill those when it is past their time, or when they are creating an imbalance," Myria says, "Or those where they should not be."

Myria and Sivius walk under a hung, decaying corpse. A skeleton remains pinned to a tree nearby, unique wooden arrows through its head, chest and neck.

 

"I fall under the last category." He says honestly. "However, know I will retaliate if you make an attempt on my life."

 

"You do not. I've granted you access to this forest, while you're with me, and you clearly don't wish to bring it harm." Myria says, her sharp scythe reflecting the sunlight.

The pair eventually come to a slight clearing, a few roses, tulips, daffodils and other flowers a little more common in this area than the forest compared to the rest. Myria focuses her power, and a large, green-petalled flower emerges from the mossy forest floor in the centre of the clearing, large roots piercing the ground as the flower blooms to reveal a red and purple inside.

"Please sit in the flower and try to clear your mind." Myria says, smiling calmly.

 

"Miss, I wish not to lie. I am an illegitimate being, though as a result of a time flux caused by the Hive Master." He explains before sitting in the flower.

 

Myria thinks for a short while.

"Perhaps, if she is feeling kind enough, Gaia may grant you legitimacy. Do not hesitate to ask her, she is a benevolent goddess." Myria says, before the flower closes around Sivius. The flower has enough space for twice Sivius' size, though something tells Sivius to remain still.

 

"Then why don't we go?"

 

Sivius holds still, pondering Myria's words.

"I dunno. If Abigail's still on my back, we just need Crystal."

 

Sivius feels a gooey, liquid substance begin to fill around him, slowly rising upwards toward the top of the flower. The liquid substance feels rather calming, however, and smells like freshly cut grass.


"I'm still here!" Abigail calls, listening to music.
