Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

After chatting excitedly with Abigail for a bit, Shadow Stephanie flies down to Xlentia, noticing her stirring.

"Hey, Xlentia? Is it alright if I leave for a bit? I have a date at seven and I need to get ready." Shadow Stephanie asks, smiling happily.

 

"Huh? Yeah, sure. Just don't leave us here." She yawns. "Who's the lucky guy to get a queen?"

 

"Sivius!" Shadow Stephanie says gleefully.

 

Xlentia just rubs her eyes.
"You what now? Are you kidding?"

 

"Nope! He said he'd go on a date with me! I've gotta go get ready now though, so see you in a bit!" Shadow Stephanie says happily, dashing through a portal.

 

She just blinks, before turning to Abigail and seeing Sivius.
"Holy hell..."

 

"I'm surprised too." Abigail says, reading a book on her visor.

 

"Guess that's one way to secure an ally."

 

"I'm honestly surprised how mushy Stephanie's become. She falls in love and suddenly she loses all her edge and boldness," Abigail says, before pausing and sighing, "Ugh, who am I kidding..."

 

"You looking for a partner too?" Xlentia asks. "Is that just a mortal thing?"

 

"No, I mean, yes, I mean...the point I was trying to make is that I'm the same, and I can't criticise Stephanie for it. You fall in love and you tend to be like that." Abigail says.

 

"Huh. That's kinda sweet." Xlentia says, pondering the thought.

 

"I'm happy for her." Abigail says honestly, reading her book.

 

"What kind of person were you hoping for?" Xlentia asks, curious.

 

"What do you mean? As in my ideal boyfriend?" Abigail asks.

 

"Frank!"
Crystal calls out, hoping to get its attention.

 

"Yeah, I guess."

"Frank!" It calls back, flying over and circling Crystal's head.

 

"Are you gonna come with us?"
Crystal asks, curious.

 

"No come with. Frank no come."

 

"Awww. What do you even do here?"
