Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

"I don't know. Conversation?" Abigail says, "But you're not going to go around killing my friends. That's for certain."

 

"I wouldn't kill him. If I wanted to backstab someone, I wouldn't have tried to befriend them. I'd just stab them in the back."

 

Abigail looks at Sivius suspiciously.

 

"Hey, why take a roundabout path?" He says honestly.

 

"I guess." Abigail says.

Shadow Stephanie appears nearby, walking over to Abigail.

"Your chestplate and shirt are being repaired as we speak." Shadow Stephanie says, smiling.

"Thanks, Stephanie. You're a great friend." Abigail says happily.

"It's nothing." Shadow Stephanie says modestly, shrugging.

 

Sivius glances at Shadow Stephanie.
"So, what've you been doing here?"

 

"Looking for you, mainly." Shadow Stephanie says.

"That's literally all we've been doing." Abigail says bluntly.

 

"Why did you think that was a good idea?" He asks, confused.

 

"It was Thirteen's, actually. They needed Abigail to fix a starmap to find you, and I tagged along and helped Abigail out." Shadow Stephanie explains.

 

"Wouldn't I be a low priority? For all you knew, I was a rumor."

 

"We weren't really doing much else." Abigail says.

"Yeah, it just seemed like a sort of fun adventure to go on with Abigail, Thirteen and Crystal." Shadow Stephanie says casually.

 

"Well, I guess so."

 

Shadow Stephanie just smiles sweetly at Sivius while Abigail goes back to listening to her music and skygazing.

 

Sivius meditates, fading away in twilight.

 

Shadow Stephanie decides to walk away from the pair, summoning a training dummy a good distance away and practising fighting with her dual daggers.

 

Sivius reforms nearby.
"You have an extra target?"

 

"Hm?" Shadow Stephanie asks sweetly.

 

"Do you have an extra dummy?" He asks.

 

"Oh, sure!" Shadow Stephanie says, summoning an identical dummy a short distance away. The dummies appear to begin to repair themselves after ten seconds of being left idle.

 

"Very well. Farewell, Miss." I say, flying back to the ruins.
