Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

Shadow Stephanie seems rather shocked, before looking depressed.

"Oh, ok. So why are you here then?" Abigail asks flatly.

 

"What if we've already established that he does?"

"Blades said there was something of interest here. I do not see what they do, thus I suppose I must stay here a while until I do."

 

I fly down towards the statue and look at it to see if I recognize the goddess.

 

Crystal seems very excited.
"Does Frank understand?"
He says, like he's talking to a child.

 

The statue is of the goddess slitting someone's throat, a look of amusement on her face. However, you don't recognize her.

...Luckily, there's a plaque that tells you.
"Nyx, Goddess of Pain and Suffering"

"Frank understands."

 

"So, do you want something?"
I ask, marginally less enthusiastic about the situation.

 

"Want something? No."

 

"Have you heard of a person named Sivius?"
I ask, not expecting much.

 

I jot this down and draw a sketch of the statue and then look behind it.

 

"Heard of person Sivius? No."

The hut has someone in it, but they're asleep, unlike everyone... or everything... else.

 

I knock on the door of the hut.

 

"Well, we're trying to find him. Is there anything on this island that might draw the interest of someone who wants to help people?"

 

"One minute..." You hear them grumble.

A few moments later, a very tired sorceress looks up at you.
"Yes?" She asks, clearly wanting to just go back to sleep.

"Giant bird."

 

"Where?"
I ask, suspicious.

 

"Are you Nyx, Goddess of Pain and Suffering?" I ask.

 

"Oh cool." Abigail says.

"You can do way better." Abigail mouths to Shadow Stephanie.

 

"Giant bird." It repeats, flying back and forth between you two and Xlentia.

"No, she's the goddess I used to be a disciple of. Before she vanished. Left me with all these psychopaths." She yawns.

"If you have questions, ask. If you wish to convince me to join you, try. If you want me to leave, I suggest you leave or you wait for me to finish here." He says, still scanning his surroundings.

 

"Well, I mean, you don't seem like the best person to be going up against the hive master to be honest. If anything, please don't join us. I don't want you to hurt yourself." Abigail says bluntly.

 

"Oh."
"She's not a bird, she's a dragon!"
Crystal says happily.
"Yeah, we came here on her, her name's Xelentia. Anything else, perhaps?"

 

"It's always amusing when people try to turn my demeanor against me." He says, resuming his scan.

"Sivus. Giant bird."
