Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

Xlentia's exactly where she has been the whole time, asleep with her head resting on the island.

 

"Hey, it said something different!"
"No, it's just because I paused before I said 'go away'. It has no idea what it's saying."
"You sure?"
"Probably."

 

"Probably." It mocks. "Go away."

 

I seem a bit peeved with the bird, continuing to travel.
Crystal, however, gains more interest.
"Hey."
He says, in hopes.

 

"It said something different." It repeats.

 

"Yay!"
Crystal seems excited.
"Have fun with it."

 

"Have fun with it." The bird repeats, still amused enough by you two to keep following you around.

 

I focus on travelling, while Crystal amuses it.
"Hello."

 

Shadow Stephanie flies over to Abigail first.

"Hey, sorry for sort of leaving you behind. I found Sivius though." Shadow Stephanie says, smiling awkwardly.

"Would've been nice if you told me you were going..." Abigail says quietly, before coughing, "You did? What's he like?"

"He's...demanding, to say the least. But he's also really hot." Shadow Stephanie admits.

"Oh good lord...you tried to ask him out?" Abigail asks flatly, disappointed.

"What? No! But, I mean..I complimented him, and he was kind of a douche and stereotyped me, and then I had to try and think straight for a while, and then I shouted at him, and he said I looked cute when I was mad and kissed me on the cheek, and then sort of hinted I had a chance?" Shadow Stephanie tries to explain.

"Well, it could've gone much worse." Abigail says, shrugging.

"I mean, I think he's pretty cute too, but like, all the time." Shadow Stephanie admits, smiling and blushing.

"Just try not to get too ahead of yourself. I think you might have a chance with him, though." Abigail says with a slight smile.

"You really think I have a chance with him?" Shadow Stephanie asks, almost sounding surprised.

"Yeah, of course! Just don't blow it." Abigail says, laughing slightly.

"He tell me not to shoot myself in the foot after I got mad at him for acting all...complimentary." Shadow Stephanie says, laughing.

 

"Hello. Have fun." It mocks.

Sivius reforms on Xlentia's back.
"I wouldn't say that calling me a coward is something complimentary." He says flatly. "However, the blades pointed me here, so here I am."
He starts scanning his surroundings, largely ignoring anything else.

 

"Oh, um...hey Sivius." Shadow Stephanie says, embarrassed.

"Hey. My name's Abigail." Abigail says, offering Sivius a handshake.

 

"Hello, my name is-"
Crystal cuts himself off.

 

Sivius accepts Abigail's handshake.
"Nice to meet you. I see the Shadow Queen travelled with you here." He says, tone unchanging.

"My name is..." The bird's open beak suggests an attempt to think and finish, but it doesn't.

 

"Frank."
Crystal finishes.

 

"Yeah. Is she famous here? I didn't know Stephanie was the queen for ages." Abigail asks.

 

"Frank. My name is." It repeats.

"No, but she reacted strongly when I mentioned I hate royalty. Thus, it became obvious."

 

"Awww."
Crystal seems disappointed.
"See? Doesn't understand."

 

Abigail glances at Shadow Stephanie, who seems to be blushing.

"So, are you going to help us fight or what?" Abigail asks casually.

 

"Not if all of you are as unconvincing as she is." Sivius says bluntly. "Especially if you all think insults are going to get you a date."

"Frank doesn't understand." It repeats.

 

"We've already established that."
"But what if he does?"
