Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

"Thanks."
Crystal says, before walking off Xelentia's wing and onto the island.
"Well, see ya!"
Crystal says to Xelentia before jogging off.

 

"I cannot be the 'bad guy' if all memories of me vanish after death." Sivius says, switching to his broadsword that radiates light energy, looking like he actually intends to cut her down.
"Only a coward would label others as such and back down upon aggression."

"Stay safe, sweetheart!" She says happily.

Crystal sees Thirteen hovering above the island, one bird in particular seeming to mock him constantly.

 

"At least I didn't run from a war and let my allies die instead. Maybe if you'd stayed to fight, none of this would've happened," Shadow Stephanie says, "Besides, you can still be the 'bad guy' in this situation. There will be memories of me being attacked for no reason when I went to see someone I've forgotten. That forgotten person shall still be the bad guy in the situation. Attacking without good reason."

 

"Hey! What're you doing?"
Crystal calls from down below.
"Scouting stuff out."
I say, landing.
"Island's pretty big, I can't find much."

 

He laughs.
"I never had allies."
Sheathing his broadsword, he disappears into more wisps of darkness, Shadow Stephanie feeling a kiss on her cheek.
"You, however, are cute when you're mad."

"Scouting stuff out." The bird mocks.

 

Shadow Stephanie seems taken aback for a moment, blushing, before regaining her focus, "Shut up! You're not cute when you're being a coward!" She shouts angrily, trying to form some kind of a comeback.

 

"Who's this?"
"Don't know. It keep repeating what I say, but I'm pretty sure it has no idea what it's saying."
I look to the bird.
"Do you?"

 

He reappears.
"You're the one hoping to get in a relationship, not me. Don't shoot yourself in the foot." He winks, before disappearing, his presence leaving.

"Do you?" It mocks.
...you can probably take that as a 'no.'

 

Shadow Stephanie seems to be at a loss for words.

"Ugh, why do you have to be so cute but so demanding..." Shadow Stephanie says, sighing.

 

Nothing else seems to be in the cave, hold a few dormant runes glowing along the walls.

 

Shadow Stephanie decides to investigate the runes, curious.

 

I look towards Crystal, then keep moving through to what's possibly the center of the island.
Crystal, however, takes a better look at the bird.

 

The runes are unlike those she's familiar with, though they seem to be activated by a paradox.

It's a bird with an orange beak and dark colored feathers, albeit not black. It seems to be about the size of a crow, but much more annoying.

 

Shadow Stephanie shakes her head, deciding to leave the cave; looking around once she's out.

 

"Do you think there are more of these guys around?"
Crystal ask while looking around, as the both of us keep moving forward.
"I hope not."

 

She's at the foot of a mountain range, the centaur village nearby as well as a forest which is likely the centaur hunting grounds.

"I hope not."

 

Shadow Stephanie heads to the centaur village, hoping to find the centaur that helped her.

 

"Unless you have something for us, go away."
I say to the bird, not caring if it understands or not.

 

Only problem with that prospect is that it's daytime, thus they all seem to be asleep.

"Go away." The bird mocks.

 

Shadow Stephanie sighs, placing a dark crystal into the ground slightly before flying back towards where she believes Xlentia to be.
