Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

"Are you okay, Xelentia?"
I ask, Crystal standing sheepishly behind me.

 

"Yeah! Even better if this armor came in my colors." She says, grinning as she notices Crystal.

 

"Even if Aj bails, I don't think he'll let you come anywhere close to Artemis. He's talked to gods before, you know." Abigail says.

 

"You're a lot more cheery than when you woke up."
I say as Crystal tries for shift to be hidden behind me. He fails miserably, however, as it's still fairly obvious to see him.

 

"I just said I wouldn't step on her three different ways. How else do I get my point across?"

"Apparently I got mind controlled. This unpolished scrap is keeping the Hive Master from even being able to touch me." She says happily.

 

"All of your ways tend to end with 'if'" Abigail says bluntly, "I won't step on her if this, I won't step on her as long as Aj does this..."

 

"I thought I said something else. Whoopsie!" She giggles, still halfway through her portal.

 

Shadow Stephanie returns, in her smaller form, next to Abigail.

"So, uh, when do you want to hit the town?" Shadow Stephanie asks.

 

Xlentia bends back down, coughing.
"Beaches are so much nicer than deserts." She complains. "Is everyone here that's going?"

 

"Think so," Shadow Stephanie says, looking around, "Are we going now?"

 

"Unless you want to doll up my armor first." Xlentia chuckles, lowering a wing.

Shadow Stephanie grabs Abigail by the arm and teleports both herself and Abigail onto Xlentia's back.

 

Xlentia waits for Enhanced and Crystal before going all the way through the portal, the unicorn creature stunned.
"Holy shit, you weren't kidding..." They utter.
"Aww, your horn is so sparkly!" Xlentia says, almost looking like she's going to eat him.

 

"Did you miss lunch or something?" Abigail asks, concerned about Xlentia's look.

"Looks like we've found a bachelor for Xlentia already." Shadow Stephanie says, winking at Abigail. Abigail and Shadow Stephanie high-five.

 

(Thirteen. Thirteen and Crystal.)
"Yeah. They're nice people as well."
I say.

 

Xlentia sighs.
"Shut up."

"Are they coming too?" Xlentia asks.
"U-um..."

 

"He might, as only he can access the map."
I say, point towards the one that Xelentia already saw.
"But most likely only him."

 

Xlentia blinks.
"Yeah, the map would help. Come on, then!" She says, lowering a wing and pulling the starmap out of the wreckage.
"I am called a Cornae, but I was hoping to reveal that away from the jokesters." He grumbles.

 

"They're not that bad!"
Crystal objects.
"Though, uhhh... try not to peeve Abigail."

 

The Cornae stays silent, keeping the two in question out of sight.
