Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

"Uh, hold on." Shadow Stephanie says, disappearing.

A little while later, Shadow Stephanie returns in her larger form, carrying a massive crystal display showing Abigail's perspective of the starmap.

 

Xlentia nods.
"Easy! I'll meet you in the desert, okay? Don't forget my sweetheart!" She says happily, opening a portal.

 

"Sweetheart?" Shadow Stephanie asks, teleporting in Xlentia's way of the portal so she answers the question.

 

Xlentia just kind of nudges Shadow Stephanie aside.
"I don't really remember mortal names. I just like that he's a walking jewel!"

 

"You mean Crystal?" Shadow Stephanie asks, hard to nudge, and teleporting back as soon as she's moved.

 

Xlentia keeps effortlessly brushing her aside.
"I think so. Don't think Aj's getting off with pairing me with him, though!"

 

"Pairing?" Shadow Stephanie asks, confused, "Are you...Are you looking for dating options?"

 

"Duh."

 

"Aww, why didn't you say, sister? I can take you around some places, meet some nice guys, that sort of thing." Shadow Stephanie says happily.

 

"If they don't come close to Aj, they're foot fodder. I want strength, size, longevity, and loyalty. If they fear me, then I may give them reason to." She says, happy but blunt. "I'm sure he'd appreciate the help."

 

"You almost sound like you have a crush on Aj." Shadow Stephanie says, laughing.

 

"I do! Just not enough to crush Artemis."

 

"What? You're saying you'd crush Artemis just so you could be with Aj?" Shadow Stephanie asks, shocked.

 

"Not quite. Aj did shove this stuff on me. It doesn't even look pretty! I want love, but not necessarily him. He's just the best one I've found so far."

 

"O-Oh god, I-I think I'm, hurgh, I'm gonna th-throw up." Shadow Stephanie says, disgusted by the mental imagery brought about by the conversation.

 

"I SAID NOT HIM!" Xlentia snaps. "Yes I want help finding someone else. Do it for me. And Artemis!"

 

"Y-Yeah, but you said he shoved his...a-and he was...o-oh god, I-I'm gonna, f-fuck..." Shadow Stephanie says, darting through a portal that closes quickly after.

 

She forces the portal open.
"HE PUT THIS UGLY ARMOR ON ME. AT LEAST MAKE IT LOOK PRETTY, PLEASE!" She calls after Shadow Stephanie.

 

The portal seems to lead to a door, the door itself closed with the sounds of puking behind it.

Abigail reaches up and taps her helmet, before speaking up.

"Your armour looks pretty cool, actually. Very sleek and streamlined." Abigail says.

 

"It's all grey and brown. I don't like brown." Xlentia complains, turning to Abigail. "I want it to be decorated so I look like a pretty goddess." She says, ego evident.
