Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

Crystal doesn't appear to barge in on much. Abigail plays with fire idly as Shadow Stephanie seems to have begun painting her nails.

"Yo." Shadow Stephanie says.

 

"Some information is missing on the map, so we can't really tell anything other than the location of the planets. Just wanted to let you know."
He says to both of them.

 

"So you're saying we can't find Mr. I'm done with wars?" Abigail asks.

The creature speaks up.
"No, it means you may be teleporting straight into a gas giant and never be seen again." He warns.

"Do you think Aj has a spaceship?"
Crystal asks.

 

"Great. Sounds like a fun trip." Shadow Stephanie says sarcastically as she paints her nails.

"Yeah, I'm dying to go." Abigail chimes in with equal sarcasm.

"I don't think so. He could build one, sure, but I don't think he has one." Shadow Stephanie says.

 

The creature sighs.
"If you don't want my warnings, just let me know how it went on the return trip. I wish you the best."

 

"Sorry," Shadow Stephanie says, letting out an exhausted sigh, "What do you suggest we do?"

 

"Hell if I know. Do you have anything that's resistant to crushing gravity? Like, a spacefaring Leviathan or some crazy thing?"

 

I manipulate the air round me to make me invisible and observe the tribal village.

 

They soon go back to what they're doing.
...most of what they seem to be doing is stabbing each other and drinking the spilt blood, every one of them looking absolutely insane.

 

"As I know of, Earth Guardians are pretty resistant to being crushed by gravity. As long as they're resistant to heat, they can enter the Earth's atmosphere and slam into the ground without taking too much harm," Shadow Stephanie says, "But the best thing I can think of is some kind of gravity charm."

"Because Earth Guardians surviving Earths gravity is perfect reason to assume they can survive extreme, crushing gravity." Abigail says sarcastically.

"At least I'm trying to contribute something, Abigail." Shadow Stephanie says flatly.

"Have you seriously not considered the fact that, because you're made of darkness, you could probably have some moving capabilities by just merging with other patches of darkness on a planet, despite it's gravtiy!?" Abigail asks.

"Light is still affected by gravity, dumbass." Shadow Stephanie says, annoyed.

"You're a lack of light! You are literally darkness! You can probably survive on any planet despite it's gravity!" Abigail argues.

"I guess it's worth a shot." Shadow Stephanie says, after a pause.

There's an awkward silence for a bit, before Abigail speaks up.

"I'm sorry." Abigail apologises.

"I'm sorry too." Shadow Stephanie apologises, smiling kindly at Abigail.

 

The creature lets out another sigh.
"Don't you have anything that would let you and your friends travel safely? Something or someone used to space travel?"

 

The pair think for a bit.

"Yeah, I've got nothing." Abigail says.

"We could always just build a spaceship." Shadow Stephanie says, shrugging.

 

"I was thinking, if you know about Sivius, then you would've known the draconians. They're capable, or at least, Siv stole the tech from someone else."

 

"That, or I can pray to Tenebrae, and see if Tenebrae knows the goddess of space, and get the goddess of space to zap us to whichever planet we want and give us gravity resistance." Shadow Stephanie says.

"There's a goddess of space?" Abigail asks.

"Yeah. Didn't you know?" Shadow Stephanie asks.

"I know of Gaia, Tenebrae and Lux, as well as those smaller gods, one of which Artemis was named after. Getting someone like Emerald to make us a spaceship sounds like a more viable plan though." Abigail says flatly.

"...Yeah we probably have better chances there." Shadow Stephanie agrees.

 

"What about Xlentia? Is she freed from the Hive Master's control?"

 

"She should be. Last I heard Aj was making a set of armour to prevent her from being mind controlled." Shadow Stephanie says.

"I'd be pissed if she wasn't after all we did to try and free her." Abigail says.

 

"Her servants claim she flies among the stars to go bird watching. Sounds outlandish to me, but if she owes you..."

 

"Did you use your favour yet, Abigail?" Shadow Stephanie asks.

"Uh, I don't really remember. We could just ask her normally though, right?" Abigail asks.

"Worth a shot." Shadow Stephanie says, shrugging.
