I sheathe my weapons, glancing around.
"She got away."

 

"I guess my chant was sort of pointless then... oh well. At least nobody was killed. It is possible that she is still near the Vault. However, if she came out to attack us then she didn't want us to reach the Vault. Unless... this was a distraction."

 

"Haha! Oh, wait, the battle is over?" I say with what looks like a giant bazooka on my shoulder. "And I was hoping to use this today..."

 

Spoiler: Reason for tonight's abscence...

OOC: Sorry, I got Starcraft 2: Legacy of the Void for christmas this year and I was trying to finish the campaign via an all-nighter.
...nope (last mission... so close, so tired)

"With her, I can never tell. Unless, you know, she forces me into stasis and drills me with a barrage. Who knows where I'd end up if that happened again..." I roll my eyes.

Ihra looks at you spooked.
"Eep..." She blinks behind a tree.

 

I say, to Rogue, "So that Vault contains the wealth of your nation? Or does it contain something else too?"

 

OOC: don't worry, I got halo 5, just completed the campaign, and WHY CORTANA WHY! ok enough with my rants!

"Yes, but it contains much more, ancient building machines that can construct a city in a matter of days, weapons beyond belief, and enough riches to make a tax-collector cry... Over all if you find the vault, you get near infanite power, which is why we need to get to it first."

 

"Correction, you need to open it first. Any idea if it can be broken into? It's Feiha and her comrades I'm particularly worried about; if they knew that stuff was in there, they'd bust it open even if everything inside was destroyed. Try to, at least."

 

"Don't worry, I'm not using it today...." I say. "Hmmm, it looks like my house has minimal scarring, unfortunately it's been through worse, one time a tornado and a hurricane came through at the same time, was not fun. Vesius, Ihra, Eras, and Reflet, you can stay here for the night if you want, Joshuah, your house is a few hundred miles away, get back home."

 

"Well I need to get the seven relics from the remaining families, we have three sofar, four more to and we can open it!" (The relics are: Emerald Acid Blade, Amulet of Acid, Key of Faith, Goblet of Nobelty, Bow of The Greats, Staff of Ancients, and the Gaurdians Wrath)

 

"I'll be fine. I probably need to get used to this world a bit anyways." I say flatly, examining my rapier's blade.

"I... I'm tired now." Ihra utters just before yawning.
"Vesius, if mother comes, tell her I'm okay."
She wanders off away from your house.

"Quite the number that is... Her mother wields more weapons than that, though, so it ought to be plausible. I wish you luck, but I can't help you now. This world is still strange... I figure I'd explore a bit, maybe find something for Ihra so she can sleep." I sheathe my rapier, finally making eye contact with you.

 

"One sec let me get MY mother out of hiding, MMUE! SITE ESAFE OTE ECOME TOUE! (MUM! ITS SAFE TO COME OUT!)"

 

"Wait Vesius! Before you go take the armor, you will need it probably, we have an extra pair for Ihra, it might be a tag big though, it will shield you from fire and ice, and from what I've seen, your going to need it."

 

The bunker door swings open.
"I can't believe I didn't drag you down there myself... You better be okay, or you're staying inside tomorrow!"

"All due respect, we're fine. Our robes provide more protection than many think, and she has her own armor. We all do, Feiha included. Thanks for the offer, though."
Broken plates form over my robe, revealing ravaged armor. They only remain a few seconds before vanishing again.
"She... did a number on mine."

 

"Wish Jeffery was here, they he could fix them up, but, he isn't.... Well you should get going, I have my own problems to deal with, also known as my mother, and my dad is coming home any minute now. He would like you though, your brave."

 

"Survival isn't bravery." I mutter. "At least be grateful you don't have her chasing you down."

 

"Mother! I'm fine! All I have is a cut robe, speaking of which, I need a new robe..." "Other than my robe I'm fine, now I need to get back into Gargantuan, the Goblet of Nobility is with one of the other families!"

 

"What about your sister? I let you venture out and you brought home all... this... what's next, the Gargantuan army? This is ridiculous, Matthew. I'd rather you help her than bring aliens to our doorstep."
She glances in my direction.

 

"He saved my life! Mother, I get that I'm still your child, and that you care for me, but I'm old enough now to take care of myself, so I'm going back out to find Goblet of Nobility. And trust me, I'll come back in one peice." I say walking out the door, and hopping into my Pod-Flier

 

"I'm holding you to your word." She mutters, glaring at you.
