Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

Emerald nods before disappearing as well, teleporting outside before teleporting back to the Void Palace.

 

I hold my sword horizontally beside me, and start boosting forward towards Abigail.

 

The technicians in the robotics lab work on reverse engineering the circuit boards, before Shadow Stephanie takes them back to the starmap and waits.

Crystal sees Shadow Stephanie appear near the starmap, looking around a bit before waiting.

Abigail watches your approach, smirking as she stands ready.

 

"Oh, hey!"
Crystal greets.

 

"Hey. Where'd Abigail go? I've got the circuit boards she needed." Shadow Stephanie asks.

 

I pick out the most intact one and perform some necromancy to return its soul and consciousness.

 

Before I reach Abigail, I stop the charge, landing and planting myself in the sand, in engaging reach, but not really in hitting reach of Abigail.

 

After the ritual, the man slowly sits up, confused.
"H-hello?" They ask nervously.

 

"Thirteen invited her to spar. But I think they might just be fake fighting. I don't think that's how spars are started."
Crystal says, pointing off in our direction.

 

Abigail stands ready, before suddenly jumping to the right, keeping you in her sights.

"Huh, they seem to be doing a whole lot of nothing for a spar. Looks like they're having a weirdly intense staring competition." Shadow Stephanie says, laughing.

A humanoid unicorn of sorts seems to be approaching the group, staff in hand to keep the sand that got kicked up from any winds at bay.

 

I mirror her, jumping a bit forward as well.

"They only started like, a bit ago. They'll get into it."

Crystal greets.

 

"Hello, Crystal. We had no idea you were this dedicated to finding Sivius. However, if it means anything... that starmap has his previous locations marked, so you'll be able to get a feel for where he may have gone."

 

"Oh, okay! Did we tell you that we were going to fix it?"

 

Abigail boosts herself backwards slightly, before launching herself upwards and over you, then boosting around to the side of you and slashing you lightly; not hard enough to do any real damage.


"Fancy moves." Shadow Stephanie comments, watching.

 

"You said you would try. I was sent to see if you had kept at it. Sure enough."

 

I bring my sword around towards her, spinning a bit, mainly forcing Abigail to react than anything else.

Crystal seems occupied talking to a unicorn-person.

"Well, it's better to find someone and try, isn't it?"

 

Abigail brings her claws up to block it, boosting herself backwards and away from the sword.


Shadow Stephanie doesn't interrupt, instead deciding to just watch the sparring.

 

"True, I suppose." They say, glancing at the sparring match.
"Though they seem a bit occupied."

 

I go through with the (not hard) swing, boosting towards Abigail as I do so.

"Yeah. We might need to wait a bit, but it's cool to watch."
Crystal says, looking at the fight.
