Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

"She's in the throne room." The guard says.

"Apparently she went to try and find you in the void palace archives, but when you weren't there, came back here to wait for your return." The other guard says.

"I think I'll stick to mostly physical, to make it fair. Rocket boosts are allowed though, right?" Abigail asks.

 

"Sure. Fine by me."
I confirm.

 

"Ah, okay. I had a... problem to tend to in her chambers. Eve would know the details." Emerald sighs. "Can you let her know that I'll be entering the throne room armed? I need to keep Xlentia at least somewhat sane."

 

"Awesome." Abigail says happily, sounding ready to spar.

"I shall." The guard says, before heading up the pathway into the palace.

 

I turn, facing her.
"Well then,"
I say, drawing my sword and leaping backwards with the help of rocket power.
"On your mark."

 

Emerald waits at the gate, other materials gathered in bubbles of sorts around her claws.

 

Abigail stands ready, claws extended, looking just past you, oddly.

The guard soon returns.

"You're free to enter the throne room. Her majesty has been notified." The guard says.

 

"Thank you." Emerald says, quickly scanning a map of the palace and teleporting just outside the throne room within seconds.

 

A pair of large guards open the massive doors for Emerald; unable to open them fully, but enough for Emerald to walk through.

 

I keep my sight on Abigail, leaping high into the air, and hovering using rocket power.

 

Emerald and her tomes float through, expecting Shadow Stephanie to be ready.
"Sorry for the wait. Eve would be your best bet to explain the holdup." She says, most tomes open.

 

Abigail keeps her eyes in your direction, stepping around slightly to adjust herself.

"It's fine. I got the wood and blood." Shadow Stephanie says, lounging in her large throne in her smaller size, holding up four bags of blood and a pile of redwood.

 

Emerald telekinetically takes the needed materials, molding an odd plastic right in front of Shadow Stephanie, before placing it in front of her.
"Basic circuitboard shape. It's flexible and moldable if Abigail heats it up a bit. Only responds to magic heat, though."

 

"This all she needs?" Shadow Stephanie asks.

 

"If you have the metals, yes. Worst case scenario..."
Emerald puts some of the oil in a jar.
"This'll be enough to double what I made. Just combine the materials and apply heat."

 

"Oh, uh, I think Abigail needed two circuit boards." Shadow Stephanie says awkwardly.

 

Emerald points to the stack of three sitting in front of Shadow Stephanie.

 

"Oh! Thanks. I'll take this to the guys in the robotics lab then to finish." Shadow Stephanie says, picking up the circuit boards and getting off of her throne, rolling as she hits the ground.

 

"Sounds good. I should be back in the Archives for a while, lest I can't keep Xlentia's mind together. Hopefully you can get the starmap working again; good luck."

 

"Thanks. I hope the plans for Xlentia's anti-mind control work. Some of the magitech is still...experimental, but it should do it's job." Shadow Stephanie says, disappearing.
