Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

Aquira launches herself from her icy tomb, gracefully falling in the air for a bit before catching herself and creating an icy path below her feet, sliding incredibly fast toward the exit of Xlentia's chamber.

 

It's literal miles away.
It takes Xlentia one step to catch up.
"Why you here?"

 

Aquira surrounds herself in a spiked ice-ball, rolling faster toward the exit on a steep ramp to the ground.

 

Thousands of guards block her path, weapons drawn as Xlentia closes the door.
"Aquira, don't. I agreed to not hurt you, not my servants!" Xlentia warns.

 

The spiked ball of ice turns into a large, icy wolf, sliding slightly and quickly sprinting away from both Xlentia and the guards.

 

It still takes Aquira a minute of full-on sprinting to cover the distance of Xlentia's head.

 

Aquira keeps sprinting in her wolf body regardless, trying to get as far as possible from both the guards and Xlentia.

 

Half an hour later, she's not even back to the gold pile, Xlentia looking at her nervously.
"Guards, disperse. She can't hurt me. Relax." She calls.

 

After a while, the ice wolf simply transforms into a large ball of ice, slowly growing in size, thickness and strength.

 

It doesn't take long for the ball to lose speed completely.
"Aquira, please. I'm kidding! I just don't like it when mortals sass me. What can I do for you?"
"MISTRESS SHE DIDN'T MEAN TO COME HERE, FOR THE UMPTEENTH TIME!" Linoa screams.
"...Oh. Darn."

 

The ball continues to grow regardless, eventually becoming the size of a ball bearing in comparison to Xlentia.

 

Aquira can barely get it large enough to need every claw to hold.
"Aquira, please. Words."

 

The ball simply continues to grow, Aquira invisible behind the thick foggy ice with normal vision.

 

Days later, the ball is the size of Xlentia's head and Xlentia's asleep, bored.

 

Noticing Xlentia asleep, Aquira rolls the ball around a bit, gaining momentum before rolling toward the doors, hoping to break through with enough speed.

 

I ask the dragonling, "So, where are you headed to?"

 

She just bumps into them, waking Xlentia.
"Hunh?" She utters.

He just keeps walking, stopping at a lake to drink before going back to its cave.

 

Aquira stops the ball from moving, acting like she'd done nothing at all.

 

Xlentia sighs.
"Aquira, if you want to explore, tell me. My servants have a special ring that allows them to walk the halls at the speed I do."

 

Aquira simply stays still, untrusting of Xlentia.
