Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

"In her home on Earth, chilling, I'd presume." Shadow Stephanie says, entering an elevator and turning glowing, crystal dials to seemingly random positions.

 

Muffy, after starting to drip magma, tries to leave.

 

One of the fire guardians opens the door for Muffy when they notice she's trying to leave.

 

She walks out, magma still dripping as she leaves.

 

The fire guardian who let her out, noticing this, picks up the magma before it burns the ship down.

 

Her fur slowly goes back to normal as she walks back on deck.

 

A few crew members notice Muffy, but don't pay her too much attention as they work. The ship seems to be sailing incredibly quickly across the ocean, the sunset visible ahead.

 

Muffy heads to the coin Xlentia left, before going up to the wheel.

 

The coin is still where Xlentia left it, nobody bothering to have touched it.

Katie's father seems to be steering the ship, squinting at the sunset.

 

Muffy tongue grapples onto his shoulder, sniffing his clothing and face.

 

"Oh, hello there!" Katie's father says, surprised to see Muffy. Katie's father smells strongly of the ocean air, a particular saltiness to him.

 

"Mrow."
She looks ahead, before jumping down and going back in the captain's room.

 

The door to the captain's quarters appears to be locked, not even budging slightly with Muffy's attempts to enter.

 

She blinks through, irritated.

 

Aquira appears to be studying a map inside, a small pile of coins next to it. Aquira doesn't seem to notice Muffy as she blinks in, focused on the map.

 

Muffy grapples to the table, dangling from the corner and rocking the table slightly as she tries to get up on top of it.

 

Aquira's silver flintlock pistol is pointed directly at Muffy as she climbs up, Aquira only lowering it once she realises it's Muffy.

"Don't scare me like that, cat." Aquira mutters, going back to her map.

 

"Muhhoh." She says, still dangling from the corner.

A minute later, Muffy drops to the ground with a thud before grappling onto the ceiling and swinging onto the map, looking it over.

 

Aquira glares at Muffy.

"Do you mind?" Aquira asks, pushing Muffy off of the map, knocking over her pile of coins which clink on the floor.

 

Muffy hisses, grappling onto the ceiling and studying the map from there.
