Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

"I guess...but, what if Phoebe negated his power?" Gaia asks.

 

"Again, he would escape and leave us, likely dead, to rot in your realm." Xlentia sighs, shuddering.

 

"We could try and prevent that!" Gaia says, "The dead and rotting part, I mean."

 

"Your children are helping me with that. If he's dead, then we avoid this whole mess."

 

"Well...I hope nothing bad happens to them. This Hive Master sounds like a very dangerous force." Gaia says.

 

"Indeed. I only hope you never have to see him."

 

"Yeah...me neither..." Gaia says, a little haunted.

 

Xlentia lands after a second lap around the planet.
"Thanks for the help. I wanted to do something nice for Katie, but... that happened."

 

"I think you still did something nice for her. She got to see her parents, after all." Gaia says, her hair and eyes changing colour, and wings receding.

 

"True. Anyhow, I should be getting home. Thanks for the help."

 

"No problem! Have a safe journey home!" Gaia says happily.

 

"That'd be great, yeah."

 

"Thanks!" Xlentia says, stepping through a portal.

 

Shadow Stephanie gets up from her throne, taking a couple of steps toward you before reducing her size to your level.

"Let's go, then." Shadow Stephanie says, ushering you to follow her as she heads toward the exit of the throne room.

Gaia waves from the other side of the portal, smiling.

 

"Let's!"
Crystal says enthusiastically as we both follow.

 

Xlentia waves back, portal closing.

Muffy jumps back down onto the deck, looking for anyone sleeping.

 

Shadow Stephanie easily pulls the doors wide open, heading through them and toward one of the many elevators dotted around the palace.

"Shouldn't take too long to get there." Shadow Stephanie says casually.

There doesn't seem to be anyone sleeping on the deck, though time has progressed to the evening.

 

Muffy blinks below deck and starts looking for any signs of people dreaming.

 

A few people seem to be resting in beds and hammocks below deck in a section of the ship, most of them dreaming.

 

Muffy checks for any nightmares, hopeful.
