I gain interest, in the heavy weapon users, going over and watching the fight.

 

Xlentia seems to be laying idly.
"Oh, good morning, darling! I was worried about you for quite a few days!" Xlentia says, somewhat happily. "Good to see you're in ine piece again."

Mace versus battlehammer. Flashes of magic fly out from the weapons being slammed into each other.

 

Shadow Stephanie glances toward the source of the voices.

 

Linoa seems to be talking with Xlentia as the portal shuts.

 

Shadow Stephanie looks at Muffy curiously once the portal shuts.

 

"Mrrow."
Muffy just stares at Shadow Stephanie blankly, looking as calm and careless as ever.

 

Shadow Stephanie heads toward the nearest elevator, before teleporting to the gaming room and loading up a game.

 

Muffy, out of curiosity, grabs a game controller with her tongue, though momentum flings her backwards until the wire goes taut (or she hits something if it's wireless).

 

Muffy ends up hitting a wall, Shadow Stephanie glancing at her as a dark looking world loads on the large screen in front of her, a health bar visible in the top right with a female character in the centre of the screen; looking well armoured and equipped.

 

Muffy brings the controller back where it was before coughing up another portal and leaving.
"After Stephanie, I don't know if I'll have the patience to ever try and appease a mortal. I'll certainly be lighter on my subjects if I'm anything close to as demanding as she was!" Xlentia says, exasperated.
"I think Muffy just sold you out!" Linoa sighs.
"WHAT? SHIT!"

 

Shadow Stephanie glares at Xlentia through the portal.

"It's not nice to talk about people behind their backs, you know." Shadow Stephanie says, annoyed.

 

"Sorry. People do it to me all the time. It's not normal?" She asks, confused as she comes closer to the portal.

 

"It's pretty fucking rude." Shadow Stephanie says flatly, giving Xlentia a narrow-eyed stare.

 

"Oh. Sorry. Uhm... what gifts do people usually give to apologize? Being a god and all, I'm way out of the mortal loop." Xlentia asks, lowering her head to Shadow Stephanie. "I tried my old gifts with the group, but they still hated me. So... um... maybe you could help me think of something?"

 

"So you think because you're a god you can justify being rude to people? Not having basic manners or morals? No wonder your world is falling apart. At least Tenebrae has a sense of common decency," Shadow Stephanie says, angry, "You're a god, for fucks sake! People look up to you! They pray to you to make things right! And you think just because you're not a mortal, you can be rude to them back!? You don't have to even try to learn how to be a good person!?"

 

Xlentia just seems confused.
"What do you mean? Everyone talks behind my back, so I thought it was normal!" She protests. "I don't know your customs, we come from different realities! I thought pardoning you and your friends' war crimes would at least warrant a little tolerance..." She sighs, crestfallen.
"Maybe I should just make like the other gods and stop interacting with mortals..."

 

"Ugh," Shadow Stephanie says, sighing, "Yes, that's a good step forward. Pardoning our crimes was incredibly nice of you, but just because people have been talking shit about you behind your back doesn't mean you should do it too. What they're doing is extremely rude."

 

"Noted. I'll have Emerald help me not do it anymore. I'm just not used to a mortal demanding so much of me. I'm glad your group saved me, but demanding something of me that can easily kill me? I... I don't know if I've ever been that grateful in my entire span of existence."

 

"What did she 'Demand'?" Shadow Stephanie asks.

 

"She said she'd only forgive me if I revived Ihra... which requires ripping my soul in two." She says hesitantly.
