Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

"Cute." Abigail comments, pointing her finger near the cat. A red dot appears where Abigail points, and Abigail moves it around frantically.

 

Muffin blinks around, chasing the dot.
"Abigail, can you please hold off amusing Muffy for a second?" Linoa asks, sighing but smiling.

 

"Heh, alright." Abigail says, holding the dot in place for a bit before switching the crystal in her gauntlet back to a fiery red one.

 

"Muffy, did you read how to trace through voodoo?"
Muffin shakes her head no.
"Damn. Okay, sorry to interrupt your fun."
Muffin rubs her head against Abigail's foot.

 

Abigail lightly pets Muffy with her gauntlet, trying not to distress her.

 

Muffy purrs... kind of, before blinking onto Abigail's shoulders and sniffing her under Abigail's visor.

 

Abigail smiles, her visor automatically locking on to Muffy and scanning her.

 

Seems Muffy is an 'UNKNOWN SPECIES' of age '6,581' and of the female gender of... whatever she is.

 

"Strange little thing, aren't you?" Abigail says happily, petting Muffy.

 

"Chaleat. Stupid name for a useful hybrid. Great for grabbing potions and ingreedients." Linoa says.
Muffy lashes out her tongue, yanking a couch cushion over to Abigail, sort of bashing her (not very hard) in the process.

 

Muffy's tongue ability seems to be recorded by Abigail's visor, and Abigail lies back onto the cushion.

 

Muffy starts rubbing up against all of Abigail's tech, probably to leave scent.

 

"Don't touch that, kitty!" Abigail warns. As Muffy rubs against Abigail's gauntlet, she soon feels extremely hot as some of her fur starts to light on fire.

 

Muffy starts rubbing her entire body on it, magma dripping on Abigail's foot.

 

Abigail lifts the magma away from the carpet and furniture, trying not to burn the house down.

 

Linoa scoops up an unhappy Muffy away from the gauntlet.
"Sorry about her." Linoa sighs.

 

"It's fine." Abigail says, drinking the magma.

 

"She's kind of got a personality of her own. Stubborn, but you wouldn't believe it for quite a while." Linoa chuckles.

 

Abigail chuckles a bit, simply observing Muffy.

There's the sound of someone ascending stairs behind Rineth and Linoa.

 

The couple turn around.
