Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

Artemis seems rather offended by the drows comment, "Fine." She says offhandedly.

 

"If your home was actively threatened, would you focus on your home or the gods of a visiting preserver?" The drow asks.

 

I fly towards their general direction to try to see if they come into view.

 

You don't know their location. It's just, half the group seems to be missing.

 

Artemis sighs, "I guess my home." She says.

 

"Quite odd." I say, and fly towards the group in the forest.

 

"I hope you can pardon my ignorance, then." The drow says, bowing.
"Now, back to my original purpose in coming here... do you have time to speak to the elder?"

Seems to consist of Aj and co, Sgavrinn, Ragnyon, and Rineth off to the side.

 

"Yeah, I think so." Artemis says, trying to smile.

 

I fly towards the people off to the side.

 

"Please, notify me when you can come. Only you are invited." The drow says, bowing before stepping aside.

Rineth seems to be alone, hold an odd passive beast with an extremely aggressive tail.

 

I approach Rineth.
"Long time no see, Rineth."

 

He looks up at you, a bit surprised.
"Terrae? Good to see you in high spirits again. I take it you must've located the airships?"

 

"I can come now, I'll just tell the others I'll be gone for a bit." Artemis says, walking back to the group. After a bit of conversing, Artemis returns, looking ready to go.

 

"Indeed. I take it the group has recovered from the fight with Xlentia?"

 

The drow nods, stepping deeper into the woods, not even turning to see if Artemis is following.

"Mostly, yes."

 

"What of the other half of the group?"

 

Artemis follows intently, deciding to grow a wooden version of herself to walk alongside her for added protection.

 

"They're off doing whatever. They wanted to travel with my wife."

The drow turns around, signaling Artemis to enter a hollow tree.

 

"Ah I see. Mind updating me on any recent events? I was preoccupied with a conversation with Aj's Mortius and examining a flower."

 

Artemis and her wooden clone enter the hollow tree, her wooden clone's bow constantly nocked.
