"Linoa seems like a reasonable person, and Abigail honestly confided in you that she was sorry, right?"

"Okay."
Crystal seems to be ready, waiting.

 

"She felt pretty bad about it. However, with Abigail, it's sometimes hard to predict what she'll do." Stephanie says.

 

"Try to give her the drink you tried to during that fiasco before they talk with each other. It might calm her down."

 

"I guess I could always spike some of her tea with it..." Stephanie says, thinking.

 

There's a drow, then Sgavrinn, the armadillo-wolf seeming to refuse to stray far out of curiosity, and finally the rest of the group, hold Crystal and Linoa.

 

"That'd probably be for the best."

 

Nothing.
"...Tap your foot."

 

"Right, right."
Crystal taps his foot.

 

Crystal sinks into the sand, being dropped into the entry of what seems to be a cafe.

 

Katie swims over to the armadillo wolf, curious herself.

"I'll make her some tea near the time, then." Stephanie says, confident in her decision.

 

Startled, he looks around.

"Good. What's in that tea, anyways? Is it just tea?"

 

"Pretty much. Artemis makes some pretty nice flavours though." Stephanie says happily.

 

"Abigail must really like tea, then."

 

"You tend to gain a liking for tea when you stick around Artemis for long enough." Stephanie says, laughing.

 

"I don't think I can imagine the amount of selections for tastes she has."

 

"Almost infinite when you can just grow anything you want," Stephanie says, "Artemis has really helped me out with getting alchemy ingredients too."

 

"Great to have a friend like that around."

 

As she approaches it, it sniffs at her uneasily.

There's an Anubis behind the counter waving.
"Welcome to the Shifting Sands Cafe! Can I help you?"

 

"Artemis, Abigail and Katie are really great friends," Stephanie says happily, "You too, of course."

Katie offers the armadillo wolf some water to drink, held in her hands.

 

"Uh, no thanks, I'm just waiting for a friend..."
It seems he's still taking this in.
