"Really not in the mood!"

One of the avalanches causes her pillow to slide down the pile, her still on it.

 

Onyx just rolls down in the avalanche, only stirring and waking up after it happens. Onyx looks around tiredly, confused.

 

A gold coin rolls down the pile, narrowly missing her as it starts to bounce.

 

Onyx quickly gets out of and away from the gold pile, scared.

 

Xlentia sweeps up the pile back to its previous state before all the avalanches.
"You'll be okay, kitty."

 

Onyx decides to explore Xlentia's chambers, looking for secrets or interesting things.

 

There's just gold. And Xlentia. And ornate directions throughout the entire room.

 

Onyx heads back to the gold pile, instead deciding to dig down into it from the top to search for anything buried.

 

It's too heavy to dig through far, but she can see a few (massive) jewels buried under the gold.
"It's a dragon thing, hon." Xlentia laughs.

 

Onyx rolls back down the gold pile, before heading toward the exit of Xlentia's chamber, curious to explore more.

 

As she steps out into the hallway, it's... exactly like it was the first time she wandered around.

 

Onyx decides to explore for secrets this time, occasionally pressing on walls and searching for hidden passages, curious and excited.

 

She finds the bunk room...
...except the guardian scribes are there, and she's not in cat form.

 

"um, hello!" Onyx says nervously.

"Is that a cat...person?" One of the forest guardians asks his colleague.

"She looks pretty cute." The colleague says, a smile on her face as she walks over to Onyx.

"Hey there! What's your name?" The forest guardian asks.

"o-onyx, nice to meet you" Onyx says nervously.

"Aww, hi Onyx! You're pretty cute, I must say!" The forest guardian says, petting Onyx on the head.

Onyx purrs, enjoying being pet. A few of the other guardians walk over to Onyx to pet her too, and Onyx is soon loved by everyone.

 

Sapphire takes her mask off and gives Onyx a thumbs-up from across the room.

 

Onyx quickly runs over to Sapphire upon noticing her, tackling her to the ground in a hug.

 

She uncloaks, wind knocked out of her.
"Huuuuuuuuuuhhhh... n-nice to see you too..."

 

"im feline way more confident than i was befur! my new mist- uhm, friend was really nice to me after finding out i wasnt a cat!" Onyx says happily, clearly excited to see Sapphire.

 

"Xlentia's friendly to everyone. Until she isn't, at least."

 

Onyx laughs, "she seems nice too! she let me play in her gold." Onyx says happily.
