Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

It takes a long while, but he eventually wakes up and walks out of the cave - albeit bumping into the mouth of the cave on his way out.

 

I follow the dragon curiously, though remaining hidden as I do.

 

He walks towards the lake, though he bumps into about fifteen trees on the way there.
After taking a drink, he heads back to his cave, missing the entry and looping back after climbing on his cave.

 

I decide to try and see what could've caused the dragon to lose it's second eye, concerned.

 

It doesn't look like a wound, more like a birth defect. There's an odd growth over where the other eye should be.

 

I decide to leave the dragon as it is, heading further through the forest.

 

There's not very much in the forest until you reach a group of treetop structures.
You sense you're being watched. By everyone in the structures.
You can also sense someone slowly approaching you, walking with a staff or cane.

 

I look around, curious, hardly afraid. I decide to wait for whoever is approaching me to show up.

 

A drow dressed in bone-jewelry approaches you, bowing and offering you a small skull-shaped trinket.

 

I seem rather suspicious of the trinket, taking it with Shadow Katana rather than touching it.

 

They seem equally suspicious of your drawn weapon, backing away slowly.

 

I summon a blank crystal and hold it near the trinket, attempting to absorb any magic it gives off to identify if it's cursed or hexed.

 

It has no magic whatsoever.
The drow seems to have vanished back into the treetops.

 

I throw the trinket up before catching it in my hand, waiting for something to happen as I sheathe Shadow Katana.

 

Nothing happens.
The trinket is likely a mark or identifying item.

 

"Thank you." I call out, keeping hold of the trinket.

 

No response.

 

I decide to fly up into the trees, looking for people.

 

There are drow living in every treetop structure, their writings runic.

 

"Sup." I say to the nearest Drow calmly.
