Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

"Abigail's house." Sgavrinn replies. "She wants to stay home for a few days. Ragnyon scared her."

 

"Oh, really? I'll get Katie and go to cheer her up soon then," Artemis says, "After I've picked you up, of course!"

 

"Thanks! Make sure Aj comes, we can go exploring again!" Sgavrinn says happily. "I'll wait not on the volcano."

 

"Alright, I will!" Artemis says happily, cutting the connection.

A long while later, Sgavrinn can see Artemis and I looking around near the base of the volcano.

 

Sgavrinn sprints off at you, happy.
There's a note stuck on his tongue.

 

"Hey Sgavrinn!" I say happily when I see Sgavrinn.

Artemis dexterously takes the note once Sgavrinn's near.

 

It's written by Abigail for Ragnyon.
"I kinda left Ragnyon in the shadow portal room. Can we swing back for her before we head out?" He asks.

You're met with a surprisingly energetic nuzzle.

 

"Oh, sure thing! Abigail seems pretty pissed..." Artemis responds.

"I think Ragnyon pissed Abigail off." Artemis says, showing me the note.

"Geez. I wonder what she said." I say, reading the note and petting Sgavrinn.

 

Sgavrinn mimics what Ragnyon told Abigail in the palace.

He nuzzles you as he's pet, humming.

 

"What did Abigail say before that?" Artemis asks, joining in with the petting of Sgavrinn.

 

Sgavrinn parrots that as well, nuzzling Artemis as he rubs his back on you.
Except he's bigger than you and pushes you a bit.

 

"I should really grab Katie and go to see how she is..." Artemis says, concerned.

"That'd probably be for the best." I say, opening a portal to the Realm of Shadows.

A small, firey orange glowing figure darts around nearby, scoping the group out from the air.

 

Sgavrinn points the figure out to Artemis, looking concerned.

 

Artemis glances at the figure.

"Oh! It's a Fire Faerie!" Artemis says happily.

"I've rarely seen many faeries around these days." I say, surprised.

"Most of them are scared of Shadows..." Artemis says flatly.

The fire faerie flies a little closer, curious.

 

Sgavrinn stretches out his neck curiously, unwanting to scare it off.

 

The faerie seems a little cautious, flying back a bit.

"Hey, there's no need to be scared of us!" Artemis says kindly.

 

Sgavrinn grows and nips off a red flower, holding it in the fairy's direction.

 

The faerie seems rather cautious, before quickly darting to Sgavrinn, taking the flower, then darting back. The faerie looks at the flower to make sure it isn't a trick.

 

The flower's just a flower.
Sgavrinn takes a nervous step towards the fairy, clearly curious.

 

The faerie's not too large, just slightly bigger than the size of both of Artemis' hands together. The faerie seems rather cautious of Sgavrinn, but remains where she is.
