Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

Gaia glances around, looking to see if the garden is anywhere near her.

 

She's standing over Mortius and the Void Flower.

 

"Oh, hey Max!" Gaia says happily.

Mortius doesn't seem to respond. He does however turn to look at Gaia.

"Yeah, I'm doing fine. I just got back from riding Xlentia!"

No response from Mortius.

"You noticed? Haha...I guess I was pretty loud." Gaia says, blushing slightly.

No response again.

"Ok. Xlentia just wanted me to grow some more of that void flower, so I guess I'll get on it. See you around!" Gaia says, before walking further into the garden while keeping the void flower in sight. Gaia begins to focus, a green glow turning from dim to bright in her eyes as she extends her arms outward. Green spores seem to fly up from the garden, and the sky of the void turns a little bluer. A second void flower slowly grows from the one in the garden, then two from that. The four void flowers grow another four, totalling eight, and those eight doubling and growing a total of sixteen. The flowers continue to multiply, slowly filling the garden, and when they run out of space, begin bursting out of the ground. Multiple void flowers begin to grow over Gaia's leafy shirt and shorts too, along with the other colourful flowers on them.

The green spores begin to fly aimlessly around, even into the palace, healing anyone they touch. There's a slight side effect of the spores, however, growing patches of leaves over the healed wounds of those they touch. They seem to be easy to remove, however, and don't do any damage to the being themselves.

 

"It's okay. You can't take my word for everyone's, I get where you're coming from. Just don't... end yourself, okay?"

 

Xlentia just stands there.
"Well shit."

"I-I won't... Thank you."

 

The void flowers begin spreading outside of the palace grounds, seeping out into the void and spreading quickly across the land as they continue to multiply.

 

"Gaia... how many did you...?" Xlentia asks, concerned.

 

"You need a lot for that wound, don't you?" Gaia asks, voice echoing with power.

 

"Y-yeah... but that's enough..." Xlentia utters, impressed. "I just need the petals ground to dust then stirred into water. But holy crap that was... fast."

 

"Are you sure there isn't anything else you want? Asking someone like me just to grow a few flowers seems...wasteful of a favour." Gaia asks, clearly happy to do something else for Xlentia.

 

"Provide the water and just make the solution while you're here?" Xlentia asks, surprised.

 

"Sure!" Gaia says happily, her hair and eyes changing to blue, the glow of them changing with it. Gaia raises her hands, and a small ball of water starts to grow into a large sphere. The water sphere eventually becomes about twice the size of Gaia's head, before Gaia's left eye changes brown, and brown hairs appear in Gaia's hair, mixing in to make a strange blue/brown mix. Gaia keeps her right hand held above her, holding the sphere, while she moves her left hand out in front. The petals are gradually and delicately taken from all the grown void flowers, flying toward the sphere of water and being crushed into fine powder before making contact. Once all the petals have been retrieved, Gaia's left eye and hair changes back to blue, and the water sphere begins to spin and mix together the solution.

"Is this enough?" Gaia asks, power evident as she holds a massive sphere of solution above her head.

 

"Yes."
Xlentia raises a claw, and Emerald appears.
"Do the... thing with the medicine."
Emerald sighs and fills the wound and Xlentia's mouth with the solution, which slowly dries up around the wound.

 

"How is your wound?" Gaia asks, still holding the remainder of the solution.

 

The solution is constantly siphoned from Gaia's hold to the wound.
"Healing, finally." Xlentia responds telepathically.

 

"That is good to hear. I am glad I could help." Gaia responds, emotion hard to tell from the amount of power in her voice, but it sounds happy.

 

"Thanks. Your side of this is almost done." Xlentia replies.

 

There's a slight red flash from under Gaia's shirt, and she reaches in and pulls out a red crystal shaped like a cog, looking at it. It appears to be attached to a necklace around Gaia's neck.

"I'm glad. We don't have too much time left here. Theodore can only cover us for so long," Gaia says, "If you would like, you could always bring some of your gods to our reality along with yourself, as you've let us into yours."

 

Emerald signals Gaia she's free to go.

"I may take you up on that. Thank you for visiting and thank you for the help. Can you tell your children that serve the shadow king I don't need their aid anymore since you helped me directly."

 

Gaia gently places the remaining solution on the ground, freezing it in place in an icy globe before changing her hair and eyes back to her natural green.

"It's been lovely visiting here. Just ask Tenebrae if you want to come to our reality. We must be going though, we can't let our times get too distorted!" Gaia says happily.

"Gaia, Mortius, time to go." Tenebrae says, appearing nearby and holding up her similar red-cog necklace.

"Bye Xlentia!" Gaia says happily, running over to Xlentia and hugging her before running back to Tenebrae, who seems to be drawing a portal to the Realm of Shadows with her hands.

"It's been a delight visiting your reality, Xlentia. You are free to visit ours any time you wish, as repayment. I should be able to open a portal for you." Tenebrae says, smiling at Xlentia as the portal to the Realm of Shadows opens.

"I'm terribly sorry, Dominus, but I must leave. It has been nice meeting you, though." Mortius says respectfully, before becoming extremely large and floating over to Tenebrae and Gaia, standing next to a massive dark portal.
