Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

"Aww, you poor little dragon!" Gaia says, extremely sympathetic.

 

"That's nothing compared to others. I'd do it again if it meant staying with the group."
Pause.
"And I'm not exactly little. Compared to Xlentia, maybe..."

 

"Well, Xlentia's sort of my size, so you're little to me!" Gaia says happily, almost talking to Rineth like he's a pet.

 

Rineth sighs.
"You're a lot more cheery than I expected."

 

"I don't see much point in feeling down unless you need to," Gaia says happily, "Plus, everything here is so new and exciting! So much to see! So many people to meet!"

 

"Must be nice not having to fight for your life every other week." Rineth chuckles.

 

"I mostly just reside in my own little paradise as a goddess. Everyone else does, really. We interact with the mortals if we need to, though," Gaia says calmly, "You could always come visit me some time if you almost get killed again!"

 

"Heh, I might take you up on that. You remind me of Ihra..."

 

"Well, if you're ever in my reality and want to come visit, just ask! You can bring Stephanie, Aj, Artemis and your other friends with you too if you want." Gaia says happily, sounding like she almost wants Rineth to visit, "I guess my paradise is sort of a separate realm like Tiffany's and Lex's, but it's not the main living realm for my children. More a main living realm for me!"

 

"I'll look your way when this... mess... is all over. Thanks, Gaia."

 

"No problem, Rineth! You're a really nice dragon!" Gaia says happily, Rineth able to tell Gaia is beaming from her tone.

 

"Just doing my job." Rineth says, sounding stable again.

 

Gaia laughs sweetly, "Then you're very good at it!" She compliments.

 

Rineth opts not to respond.

 

Gaia takes this as an end to the conversation, halving the strength of the connection so Rineth knows.

 

Rineth cuts the link.

 

Gaia smiles, before looking around, curious to see who's still near.

 

Just Xlentia.

 

"Uhm, Xlentia?" Gaia asks.

 

"Oh, gods... you want to ride me too, don't you?" She sighs.
