Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

Gaia decides to head toward Xlentia, remembering her desire to ride a dragon.

 

"I haven't seen him."
"Me neither."

 

Xlentia seems to be talking to a robot and a talking rock.
"He should've been here already... I wonder what's keeping him. Did he come here with the rest of your group?" Gaia overhears.

Gaia remains quiet, waiting for Xlentia to finish her conversation while sneakily listening in, her hair and eyes turning black.

 

"Yeah, but I lost him after that."
Crystal detaches from me.
"Well, he was with us before the portal opened, but I don't remember seeing him enter."
Crystal says, forming what he's saying about his head.

 

"Hmm... strange. It's unlike him to be late. Perhaps I should check the world you came from?"
...
"Ah, there you are. You were supposed to travel with Ihra's friends."
...
"What do you mean?" Xlentia asks, turning around.

"Hmm... strange. It's unlike him to be late." Xlentia comments, confused. "Perhaps I should check the world you came from?"

Conveniently, Rineth walks in.
"No, I was snoozing on the shoreline. I'd never pass up a shot to regain my title."
"Ah, there you are. You were supposed to travel with Ihra's friends."
"My apologies. Though, may I ask about the lady behind you?"
"What do you mean?" Xlentia asks, turning around.

 

Gaia freezes up...literally. Gaia's her and eyes turn a light blue as a layer of ice forms all over her, freezing her in place as she gives Xlentia an awkward smile.

 

Xlentia chuckles a little bit.
"A little bit of curiosity hasn't hurt too many people."

 

Gaia melts.

"Uhm...who are these two you're talking to?" Gaia asks, curiosity replacing her fear.

 

The rock seems scared and startled, while the robot takes the introduction.
"I'm Thirteen, and this is Crystal."
I say, gesturing to Crystal upon name.
"And who might you be?"
I ask Gaia.

"And, hey, Rineth."
I smile at him.

 

"My name's Gaia. I'm not the Gaia from here, though. I come from an alternate reality." Gaia explains.

Gaia suddenly picks up Crystal, holding him at her eye level and inspecting him.

"What a strange golem. Did you make it?" Gaia asks, leaving Crystal on her palm.

 

"No."
Crystal answers for himself, awkwardly taking a seat.
"Another guy did, but I don't know his name or what he looks like."

 

"He must've been very intelligent to create a golem as smart as you!" Gaia says happily, surprised at Crystal's ability to talk in full sentences. A large flower grows from Gaia's palm under Crystal, giving him something to sit on.

 

"Hello. Sorry I'm late."

"Gaia, you said?"

 

"Yes?" Gaia asks, turning to look at who called her name.

 

"Well, he tought me a lot, like different magic stuff."
Crystal says, pouring water out of his left hand into his right hand, which shifts into a bowl.

"It's okay, nothing to apologetize for."

 

"You can perform magic!?" Gaia asks, shocked, "Was your creator a god?"

 

"...Maybe? I don't really know much about him. He made me, taught me things and left."
His right hand shifts back to a hand.

 

"Wow, he sounds mysterious. I kind of want to meet him now!" Gaia says happily, putting her hand on the floor for Crystal to step off. A slight green glow comes from Gaia, lightening the mood.

 

Crystal smiles, and hops off Gaia's hand.
"I don't know where he might be, but maybe you can find him. You seem pretty powerful."
