Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

"Simply how they're used."

 

"i dont really talk to anyone at all" Onyx says, smiling.

 

"No, what techniques result in what?"

 

"Well, there isn't really anyone else on this island we're going to. I'll drop you off with Alpha, see if the reapers left, then look into getting you home. Deal?"

"The same technique, depending on the situation, can result in either opponent being frozen solid; sometimes both."

 

Onyx nods.

 

"Alright."

 

After a while, Alpha growls as it crawls up onto the island, laying down on the ground.
"Stay here with the cat person, okay?"
The beast nods.
"I'll be back in a while."

Now may be a time for Onyx to explore.

"So, try another attack."

 

Onyx takes a running jump onto the sand of the island, unharmed by the fall as she rolls upon hitting the ground. Onyx runs off into the island excitedly, gaining speed and climbing the nearest tree to get a good look over the island.

 

The island is... pretty small. There's a house, cave, and a well. Basic, but liveable.

 

Onyx slides back down the tree, heading toward the house.

 

Inside she finds various parts, blueprints, and strings everywhere.

 

Having held back her urge earlier, Onyx can't help but play with some of the string strewn about, giggling gleefully.

 

A small gryphon gets yanked off a shelf and shatters.

 

Onyx looks at the gryphon, shocked, before darting out of the house and into the cave.

 

Inside the cave is a mattress, a set of armor, and a dagger. There's also a candle that's not lit, along with a thick sheet that seems to be for hooking over the mouth of the cave.

 

Onyx leaves the cave, creeped out, before deciding to observe the well.

 

I advance forward slowly, watching Kyle.

 

The well is... a well. There's a woven basket that, impressively enough, is watertight to hold a rather sizeable amount of water.

He waits for you to make a move.

 

Onyx collects some water to drink, at first lapping it up before realising she doesn't need to, and accidentally soaking herself with water as she tips the entire basket of water over herself in an attempt to drink from it.

 

Well... she could just pull more water up.

Off to the side, it looks to be not that far from sunset. Maybe there's something around to light the candles before then?
