Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

Stephanie sighs sadly, a few tears running down her glassy cheeks.

 

"Hey, as long as you're alive in some plane or another, then you have the ability to redeem yourself."

 

"I-I guess..." Stephanie says hollowly, pulling her hood back over her head to hide her tears., "I must wait..."

 

"Not long. I suggest you go back."

 

"I shall, soon, then..." Stephanie says ominously.

 

Xlentia pokes her tail in the door.
"Hey, glass girl. Sorry, but someone's looking for you."

 

"Whom?" Stephanie asks, turning her attention to Xlentia.

 

"Shadow people."

 

"Oh?" Stephanie asks, walking toward Xlentia.

 

There seems to be a portal leading outside the shadow palace.

 

Stephanie steps through, curious.

 

A shadow draconian waits for her.
"Gotta go, but hang in there. The queen relies on it."

 

"I realize that..." Stephanie says, slightly confused.

"I guess she's gone again."
I softly say towards Kyle.
"Sooooo... can we go?"
Crystal says anxiously

"Then go meet up with the others." The draconian says, shadow travelling.

"Yeah, come on." Kyle says, stepping towards a ring.

"Look down. Wolf bites, squirrel chewing, et cetera."

 

Stephanie heads into the palace, going to an elevator and teleporting to the labs.

Stephanie heads into the lab, where various scientists are working on waking the group from their simulation and retrieving them from the vats.

"Turning down the simulation, prepare for wake sequence." The leading fire guardian says, working at a terminal with a screen showing the simulation.

Stephanie looks around for signs of any strangers, curious more than worried.

 

Sapphire seems to be waking up, lazily opening her door. Stephanie can notice an autobreather inside of her.

 

Stephanie walks over to Sapphire, her feet clinking on the metal floor.

"The others are waking..." Stephanie says eerily, watching the events happening in the healing room as the group begins to stir from their long sleep.

 

Sapphire passes out on the spot, gasping before she tumbles.
