Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

"That's the idea!" Kyle says happily.

It's cold to the touch, a frosty aura visible around a crystalline design on the tip.
Around it, various sizes and elements rest on the rack, each respectable in its own right.

Emerald laughs.
"I mean, you gonna try to cling to a physical body or are you going to become a spirit strong enough to survive on its own?"

 

"I can survive as a spirit..." Stephanie says ominously, "I prefer having this body, though..."

 

"You said earlier that your spirit was fragile..." Emerald mumbles.

 

"It is..." Stephanie says hollowly, "I meant I can survive out of a physical body...If my voodoo doll is destroyed, so am I..."

 

"So, about this... training area, do you use it a lot?"

Crystal tries making some water, putting it right above where he touched it, seeing what it does.

 

Emerald sighs.
"Seems a bit riskier than being an independent Ethereal. Have you talked to Ragnyon about this yet?"

"Almost daily. The training area is heavily used, but there tends to be vacancies anyways."

The water freezes before touching it, the ice falling to the ground.

 

"My doll is safe...Eve is protecting it..." Stephanie says hollowly, "And I don't know where Ragnyon is...I was hoping to see Thirteen..."

 

"Even with all the draconians here? I'm in for quite the sight, then."

Crystal, getting an idea, shifts so that his arm envelopes the spear, making him smaller, but making it so that he holds it better, before launching water from the spear tip.

 

"Hold onn..." Emerald utters, thinking.

"...training room. I put the location in your subconsciousness, so just head where you think you should."

"If you want, you could duel my student. He's learning the scythe, and you could see how the chronoshift arenas work."

The water freezes into an extended blade of sorts at the tip.

 

"Ok..." Stephanie says, her voice echoing slightly as she leaves the room, jumping down to the ground floor before slowing her descent a few moments before she hits, gently touching down.

Stephanie heads out of the library and wanders aimlessly, following random paths and turns.

 

"Seems good to me. Lead the way!"
I say, happily.

Excited, Crystal darts down th stairs.

 

Seems the first path and turn she takes leads her straight there.
Two draconians are visible in a bubble arena; one's without a wing and a leg and the other has spectral spears being torn from their flesh. As they fall, the sphere collapses and both draconians, now perfectly fine, shake claws.

Kyle leads you off to the side before pausing.
"Hey, what's your buddy got?"

Kyle and Thirteen aren't far, and one of the doors outside opens.

 

Stephanie pulls her cloak around her and walks toward the pair.

"Is this the training room...?" Stephanie asks the draconians hollowly.

 

"Yes, ma'am, it is." One replies, the other going upstairs with sheathed weapons.

 

"Is there a robot called Thirteen here...?" Stephanie asks, her voice somewhat quiet.

 

"We've been busy, sorry. I don't know."

 

"Oh...ok..." Stephanie says hollowly, looking around the training room for signs of anyone else.

 

After a bit of scanning, she sees Thirteen walking with a draconian in heavy red armor and Crystal happily running down the stairs with a frost spear.

 

Stephanie decides to walk over to them, keeping herself cloaked, though her feet still clinking.

You see a cloaked figure walking over to you, a glass-like clinking sound following their every step.

 

"I FOUND A COOL SPEAR!"
Crystal shouts, extending his spear arm like he did before. However, he extends it too much, and as a result, falls face-first into the ground due to unbalance.

I turn to them, my attention turning to them as well.
"Hello."
