Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

"I don't think there's a portal your size able to locate and open to your realm..." Stephanie says hollowly, "Can you reduce your size in any way...?"

 

"Unfortunately, no. My brother might be able to help, but he uses light magic which is... an issue here."

 

"I guess you're stuck here then..." Stephanie says ominously.

 

"You have like a week before my servants think you killed me and they come to investigate." She sighs, letting herself lay on the ground.
"I'm sorry, I can't stand here any longer..."

 

"I will see if anything can be done..." Stephanie says, heading into the palace, her glass feet clinking on the ground as she walks.

 

"Oh yeah! She was one!"
"It's easy to forget that some of your allies are the same species as your enemies when you're dealing with so many species. I get where he's coming from."
I say to Kyle.
"But, you meet new things everyday, y'know?"

 

"You guys can have fun...because I'm sure as hell that I am not doing anything."

She goes back to the library.

 

Xlentia just lays there.
"Everyone else okay down there?"

"I wish I travelled that much!" Kyle laughs.

Same as ever. Pick a shelf, pick a book.

 

A few Shadows in the city look upon Xlentia with a mix of fear and curiosity, a few angry standing amongst the rubble of their crushed home.

A while later, Stephanie returns, a large amount of Shadows and Guardians following her.

"We should be able to return you home, we have a link..." Stephanie says hollowly, the Shadows making the journey around Xlentia and joining hands.

A short while later, there's a ring of Shadows and Guardians around Xlentia, and they begin to chant, magic filling the air.

 

"You got a lot of time to travel when your home explodes, trust me."

 

"I'll foot cost of damages... I can't help it, sorry." She sighs.

Kyle lets out a single, loud laugh.
"Yeah, that'd do it! Heh, wish I had an excuse like that. You should tell me about your travels sometime!"

 

Stephanie glances over at the wrecked houses, silent.

After some time of chanting, a portal to the void begins to open beneath Xlentia, slowly growing until it's wide enough for Xlentia to fall through, her footing the only thing preventing it.

 

Xlentia shifts her footing to fall in.

 

Xlentia falls onto her gold pile, Stephanie floating down in her glass body after her as the portal quickly shuts, the group exhausted of magic.

 

Right shelf this time.

 

"Ssshit, why'd I do that..." She groans, pulling a statue from her foot.

Generals, mayors, expedition leaders...

 

Stephanie floats down to where she died, collecting her clothes and replacing her current cloak with her own, revealing her glass body for a few moments. It seems to lack any kind of sexual area, her body simply made to look more curvaceous and feminine, while lacking most human attributes. The only notable part are two rounder areas on Stephanie's chest, presumably to fit with her more feminine body.

Stephanie checks herself over, noticing various holes in her old cloak, before checking her pockets. Upon finding close to nothing, Stephanie changes back to her old, simpler dark cloak, cleaning the various glass shards, spilt potion and voodoo doll stuffing out of her clothing. Stephanie folds up her clothes and puts it in a corner of Xlentia's gold pile to retrieve later.

"I wonder where the others are..." Stephanie says hollowly to herself, looking around Xlentia's chamber for anyone else.

"I was told they're all almost out of recovery back in the Shadow Realm." Xlentia replies.

Only Terrae seems to be here.

One in particular seems to be a myth.
A general sacrificed himself to fuel the core of a dying homeworld, and the natives then forfeited some of their lands to the draconians in gratitude.

 

"I know. I was talking about Thirteen and such..." Stephanie says, looking toward Terrae and pulling her cloak around her, covering her head with its hood to hide as much of her glassy body as possible.
