Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

I say, trying to see a central point of action, or something that might be controlling this, while preparing to block projectiles.

Meanwhile, Crystal, not talking, tries to combat the projectiles with water.

 

You can see a Sapphire-scaled draconian struggling to pull up the spectral threads into the construct's mouth.

Iruk joins Crystal in trying to knock the projectiles off-course with water.

 

"Eve! Protocol Gamma, Triple, Fire, Omega!" I shout to Eve desperately.

Eve begins to charge...something.

 

The spectral threads continue to be pulled up.
Your thread specifically is shaken.

 

I try shifting planes to escape the thread whilst slicing at it with Shadow Katana.

Eve continues to charge.

 

It's cut, and you start to fall.
A sapphire thread shoots back down at you.

 

I breathe deep, before focusing and splitting into two. The pair of mes run in separate directions upon hitting the ground, Shadow Katanas flickering on our backs.

 

You're quickly stopped and under hypnofire on both sides before you hit the ground within the horde.

 

The pair of me quickly fly back up, before summoning one of Aeris' boomerangs each and throwing them toward the crowd...which hit once then fly out of the palace.

One of me disappears, while another me flies around, occasionally diving down to slice a few draconians.

 

A yellow rope with blue threads grapples onto you, grabbing your soul directly.
"Aj, get the hell up here!" Milla shouts.

You can't even manage to pick off stragglers. It's an utter wall of pain. The boomerangs knock out two, but that's it.

 

The pair of mes reform, before flying back up whilst invisible.

 

Milla and Sapphire are trying to pull the group out of the range of fire, both sitting in the construct's beak.
"Where'd he go?"
"I can't have him dead, he promised Sister Emily scribes..."
"He's probably just cloaked..."

 

I try grabbing some of the threads they're using to bring everyone up.

 

This makes them fall backwards.
"Hey, Aj?" Milla asks, uneasy.

 

I remain silent, jumping down and grabbing Abigail and Ignia myself, flying them up to where Milla and Sapphire are, before doing the same with the rest of the group.

"J-just thought you c-could use a... um... lift..."

 

"Thanks? Where are we headed?"

 

"Xlentia's quarters... guess it'll be my last action as c-commander..."

 

"That-that's great."

 

"How else you helping... um... her?" Sapphire asks, pointing at Ihra.
