Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

"How sweet. Don't worry, I'll let you watch the life slowly drain from Sophie's eyes as I kill her." I say evilly.

 

Same thing...

"No, you won't. You may have power in your world, but I'd die to a tyrant before I served one." She growls.

 

"Shh, shh, shh." I shush, forcing Milla into deep unconsciousness.

 

She manages to resist, but she goes limp.

 

"A fighter, I see. You're fun." I say, taking control of Milla again and walking her to where I came, while also heading in the direction I think Commander Sophie went.

"I'm killing you after this anyway. I might even make you a gravestone like you asked. 'Milla - Useless in life and died like an idiot. She won't be missed because nobody cares about her.'" I say casually, strongly in control of Milla. All she can do is watch as I control her like a puppet on strings.

 

She continues on walking.

 

After a moment, it seems you broke her.
"Please, name your price. I don't know where Sophie is, but I'll give you anything if you let me go home." She whimpers. "If nothing else let me pass on my magic style - nobody else uses it..."

The spirits ready their arms, all poised to kill you.
"Soulfire." The blades whisper to you...?

 

"What's your magic style?" I say, my grip on Milla like putty in a childs hands. I continue searching for Sophie.

 

Milla is blocked from entering the enemy lines.
"Weaving."

 

She grabbed a blade and pointed it at the spirits.

 

I try to force my way through the blockade, intent on finding Sophie.

"Weaving? Wow, I'm surprised your the only one in your world who does that." I say.

 

They can't, and Milla is faced with a spear at her neck.

"Not that kind of weaving. It's a thread based magic."

The spirits don't budge, slowly closing on you.
"Soulfire..." It repeats.

 

She's going to gently put the sword in one of the spirits.

 

It doesn't affect it, but the spirit backs up.
An arrow is let fly, landing next to your foot.
"Leave. Now." The spirit commands.

 

"Interesting. Maybe I'll throw you in the labs to be tested on. You seem to have some use to you." I say.

"Please, I'm just looking for my mo-, uh, captain. Captain Sophie. I must warn her, there's a dangerous Shadow on the loose that could kill her!" I plead, using Milla's voice, tears forming in her eyes, "I...I just want to see her.."

 

"Ok."

Cecil leaves and stores the sword away in her robe.

 

"Fuck off. Tell me what you want."

"The shadow's inside of you. Three seconds before you die." One of the draconians shout.

 

"W-What!? No! Please! G-Get it out!" I scream through Milla, sobbing.

"Well, if you're going to be rude, I might as well kill you right here and not let you go home." I say.

 

Milla is thrown to the opposite wall with a massive gust of wind.

"If you're going to be rude, I could've held back the offer of my stash. Also, you're not even remotely close to convincing."

 

I fly along, looking for anything useful.
