"The head air guardian is female, Ruby. Now I know this has just been some big ruse." I say, annoyed at both Iruk and Ruby.

 

"Bah, whatever. Ask 'em anyways. Bio genders confuse me. Only care about immortals."

 

She's going to walk away from Aj. Doesn't matter the direction, just away from him.

 

I just give Ruby a flat look before sighing heavily.

"Just...don't kill anyone else." I say, annoyed.

 

"That would be detrimental to my plans. I might intervene if I see fit."

 

"Seems fine to me."
Crystal confirms.


Getting off Rineth and listening to Myria, I spot Iruk, and walk over.
"Well then! Looking sharp! Got a new haircut or something? Can't quite tell..."
I joke.

 

"We already went over this, I'm not a murderer." Ruby says bluntly before signaling to Ihra coming back to the group.

You pass Ihra as she returns to the group.
"Hey, Cecil. Taking a breather before we go? I... uh... it means a lot to me you're willing to try and fight." She says, a concerned smile on her face as she passes.

"Do as you wish, just be aware that you may be attacked by another deity. Not because he's mind controlled, but as with all immortals it seems, if you anger them they do something about it."

Iruk laughs.
"Updates, upgrades, and a whole extra fiasco with Ruby. Girl definitely keeps things interesting..." Iruk chuckles.

Rineth picks up Kailee and flies off over the ocean. Seems the way out of the coming fight is now closed.

 

I nod, and then disappear once more.

 

"You say that, but a murderer is someone who kills someone else, and you literally did just that." I say flatly.

 

"I have nothing to lose anyway..."

 

"So, updates, upgrades, and an upshot with..."
It looks like I'm thinking.
"Damn. I almost completed that, too. Satisfying alliteration aside, do you get what's going on here?"

 

"So you are also defining yourself as a murderer? I just left him to a serpent."

Ihra nods, sighing.
"If it means anything, I hope you make it."

"We're bringing the fight to Xlentia. I don't like the odds, but it is what it is."

 

"Thank you." Cecil smiles.

 

"Which killed him!" I say, annoyed, "'Oh no officer, I didn't kill that man, I just left my knife in his heart!'"

 

"What're you gonna do to help then? I'm planning on distracting, I figure I'm at least okay at that."

 

"Don't be too long!"

"I like how you take it personal when someone who serves you dies, but you just try and blow it off when you murdered Vei, may I remind you once again." Ruby says flatly. "I may have killed him, but you've no right to put yourself above me. We're more similar than you try to portray."

"Likely take on her army."

 

Cecil is going to wait until the battle comes around, or someone likes to talk to her.
