"I thought we were team firework. We're meant to distract Xlentia." Abigail says quizzically.

"We named ourselves team firework, by the way." Ignia says with a smile.

 

Cecil studies the blades away from Ihra.

 

"I know. That doesn't mean everyone's set well enough to handle the horde she controls. Also, there's a surprise for you when you start fighting. I suggest you try not to cause too much damage to the palace, because draconian legends speak of a creature equal to Xlentia lying dormant in her palace." Ruby says, smirking.

They're somewhat sickle-shaped, with a wide blade filled with etched runes. The entire thing is singed a greenish color, and it reeks of blood.

 

"Right, we'll need to dispose of them as quickly as possible." Ignia says.

"Are you hiding information from us?" Abigail asks, suspicious.

 

"I always am. Ruby says, smiling. "That's the best part of me. I tell all- on a need-to-know basis."

 

"I would think a hidden and extremely powerful enemy in our upcoming battle would be a fairly crucial piece of information for us to know." Ignia says, slightly annoyed.

 

"Well, I just told you, didn't I? I fail to see the issue. Shake the structure, shake the beast to its senses."

 

Does Kailee have to say anything about this?

 

"That's a little clearer, thanks." Ignia says, calming down.

 

Kailee's not anywhere remotely close to you.

"You may or may not get used to me eventually." Ruby says before disappearing.

"I supercharged your next attack. Have fun with fire." She tells Abigail telepathically.

 

Abigail contemplates for a moment, before putting her hands together and channelling as much energy as possible into a mighty fire blast away from her.

Cecil tucks the blades away in her robe.

 

A beam of solid white fire launches out, erupting into a fiery rain in the nearby area.
"Won't get that much every time, but you'll still have enough power for them to know I'm nearby."

 

Ignia looks at Abigail, both surprised and disappointed.

"What have I told you about control, Abigail?" Ignia asks, disappointment in her tone.

 

Xephyr pretends she doesn't see anything...

"Ask her to demonstrate again." Ruby tells Abigail. "Gonna mess with her, heheh..."

 

"You don't see anything suspicious!"

The blades are currently sticking out of her robe.

 

"Get a bigger robe." She sighs.

 

"Ok." Cecil went to get a bigger robe...Somehow.
