"Hi. You totally did not kill me in another universe!"

 

"Well, we need all we can get. Glad to have them aboard, if they even are coming."

 

OCC: Hate them aboard?

 

OOC: *have. Damn phone typing

 

OOC: It'll be very awkward to hate the people you haven't met XD

 

OCC: No kidding

 

"More? Hmm... I think we can pull it off. But, Ruby's never usually this late..."

"Forgot about you, Mister Terrae. I don't know if you should even risk being nearby if you won't fight, though." Ihra says.

"So, puppy and dragon to the safe area, and the rest of us are going into the fray?"

 

The ice and earth balls crack open, revealing Katie, Tirra and Aqui, who walk over to the group alongside Victus, Mortimer, Aeris and Ignia.

"I thought we could use a little extra help!" Katie says happily.

"Well, since most of us are here, I may as well begin the planning." Myria says, turning back to Ihra, before walking into the best position to view the full group, then lifting herself up with a large vine hand.

"Attention, everyone!" Myria calls out, gaining most of the group's attention.

"As many of you know, we will soon be fighting the mighty beast Xlentia. This battle will not be easy, she is extremely powerful. However, with our combined efforts, I believe we will be able to take down Xlentia in this upcoming battle. It will require team work and precise action, so I have sorted all of you into teams with specific actions to complete," Myria explains, trying to raise morale, "The upcoming battle will contain two stages and three phases, and it is important for all of you to know what you must do at each part of it. The first stage is simple, kill any guards Xlentia has recruited. Our attack has most likely been predicted and prepared for, so there will most likely be guards to protect Xlentia. Kill them as quickly as possible, then move onto stage two, in which teamwork is essential."

"Katie, Aqui, you two shall focus on freezing and slowing Xlentia as best you can. Freeze her head, limbs, tail, whatever can slow her down. If possible, attempt to remove her eyes, or at least blind them. I do not know what senses she possesses, but blinding her shall certainly give us an advantage." Myria commands, serious.

Katie and Aqui look at each other across the group, sharing a smile.

"Moving on, Abigail and Ignia. You two are very important aspects of this battle. You will need to distract Xlentia as best you can. Fly around, attack her, create a light show, whatever you can to draw her attention away from the others. She must not gain any sort of focus, otherwise things will take a turn for the worse." Myria explains, her words powerful.

Abigail and Ignia nod.

"Aeris, Tirra, you two shall be our main form of attack for the first phase of this attack. I know the pair of you work well together, so you will need to combine your abilities to deal as much harm as you can. Attempt to cut into Xlentia, hit her hard and do whatever you can to attack. I'm giving the pair of you a freer job here, I know you won't disappoint." Myria says, smiling at the pair.

"Yes Ma'am!" Tirra says, saluting.

"Onto the most important team of this battle, Aj, Stephanie, Mortimer, you shall be working with me to charge a powerful attack on Xlentia. We will need to channel as much energy as possible into this to do as much damage possible, as it will take us to the second phase of this battle. We shall find an area somewhere away from the battle, but within attacking range to charge our attack. Stephanie, use as many mage crystals as you can to channel and add power to us. We must not fault in our focus, for we will need to be at the peak of power if we want to do any kind of serious damage here." Myria explains, a determined look in her eye.

Mortimer nods as Myria finishes, like he'd already heard the plan.

I draw Shadow Katana, ready for battle. Stephanie smiles evilly.

"Of course, we will need protection during this time as we will be completely defenceless. Artemis, Victus, keep us protected while we charge. If any new guards appear, kill them immediately, and shield us from any oncoming attacks." Myria says, clearly very serious about this part.

"Yes, Mother." Artemis says, content.

"Now, onto the second phase of the attack. As soon as Mortimer, Stephanie, Aj and I are about to unleash our attack, get as far away from Xlentia as possible. After this, Katie, Aqui, Abigail, Ignia, continue your previous job of distracting Xlentia," Myria explains, "Aj, this is your most important part of the battle. Since you'll most likely be the only one with enough energy left to continue fighting, search Xlentia for any open wounds, hopefully some created by Aeris and Tirra. Enter her bloodsteam and find her heart. If you can stop the heart, you can stop the beast. Understood?"

"Get inside her, find her heart, destroy it. Got it." I say, nodding.

"This is where the third phase comes in. Should Aj either somehow fail, or Xlentia somehow survive, everyone should give all you've got to attacking Xlentia. Combine your powers and attack, make sure she can't stay focused on one attacker at a time," Myria says, a slight tone of worry in her voice, "At all costs, Xlentia must die."

"That is all. Feel free to ask me any questions you need, but I strongly suggest getting into your teams and preparing for this battle as best you can." Myria says, out of breath from explaining everything. Myria lowers herself back down to the ground and joins Stephanie, Mortimer and I as everyone else gets into their teams.

 

Ihra pauses.
"I said weaken, not kill. One, I need her body to take control of and free intact. However, we will likely need to knock her unconscious, so that should be our victory mark."

Ruby appears, horns glowing.
"We're known. I can't help you this fight." She growls. "Other commanders saw me coming. Got ambushed; the damn place is fortified."

 

"Your opportunity to do that will be after the first phase of attack, however, should that fail, Xlentia is simply too dangerous to let live," Myria says calmly, before turning to Ruby, "That has been accounted for. I'm sure we won't have too much trouble."

 

"Actually, you do indeed. Your elemental powers will be suppressed until you disable the other preservers. I can empower the fire guardians since we share an element, but I can't do any more without dying. There's not many, but Forest, Death, and Water will start suppressed."

 

"Well, that creates a slight problem, however we're all trained in fighting normally. We can survive powerless when fighting the army." Myria says.

"Yar'ka vrum har'ssa lak'uaw arx xa'rba." Stephanie says.

 

"Stephanie, no draconian can understand you. However, it's a good thing you can fight powerless, since one of them always spends their damn days hiding."

 

"What do you mean?" Myria asks, confused.

 

"The commander suppressing ice and water magic is royally terrified of being seen. They may be hiding in any obscure place you can think of."

 

"Hmm, well, if Artemis and I get out of the fray to hunt down these suppressors, it should give us the powerful edge we need. They can't hide, as we can see more than just what the light touches." Myria says, patting Artemis on the back. It seems Artemis hasn't taken off her blindfold yet.

 

"Oh, right. No light in the Void. Good thing you can see."

 

"Score!" I say, fist pumping, "Looks like I have close to an unlimited source of energy then!"

"It seems Aj will have to do most of the fighting in the first stage, then." Myria says, glancing at me momentarily.

 

"You realize it's not conventional darkness, correct? Void implies absence of... well... a lot."

 

"Right...but still. No light to wear me down." I say, pointing to the sun.
