"You can't count the potential deaths. Were she to copy your memory and destroy your home too..." Ihra lets the implications do the rest.

"Xlentia, the Deity of Decay. You thought I was big? Dozens of me fit on her wing." Rineth says.

"Thirteen, are you sure he should go? This might just be walking him to his grave..."

 

"I was talking about the other goddess. The one that will protect Buddy."

"I'm looking at you Crystal."

 

I think for a moment, but Crystal beats me to a response.
"I know, but... all of you are too, aren't you? So why can't I?"

"Oh... He's staying here? I thought that he would stay with us, then when it got too dangerous you could de-summon him."

 

"No one wants a situation where you die from saving the dog."

 

"Yeah..."
Pause.
"So I just leave him here?"

 

"Yes. Just let him down softly."

 

Crystal rises up an earthen pillar, sets Buddy down on it, and slowly descends down to ground level.

 

"I realise." Myria says calmly.

 

"Thank you."

 

"You're welcome, I guess..."
Crystal still seems a bit disappointed, but quickly gets over it.

 

OOC: Guess we wait?

 

OOC: Exvhius is driving this ship, so.... I guess yeah.

 

OOC: Did someone say ship!? :oo

 

"Then let's worry about our enemy, not those who are yet to realize the threat." Ihra suggests.

"I mean... good point."

"Keila, the Storm Goddess. Controls what it sounds like she does."

 

"I cannot tell which timeline we're on, but I do know there are few timelines in which nobody dies in this forthcoming battle." Myria says, sighing.

There's a rumbling as Katie rolls off in another spiked ice ball, headed toward the city.

 

Ihra pauses.
"Well...we'll have to make it one of those few."

 

"From the current events, we stand more of a chance." Myria says, nodding to Katie rolling into the city.

A short while later, there's an even greater rumbling. Two spiked ice balls, as well as one made of earth roll toward the group. Aeris, Ignia, Mortimer and Victus fly toward the group, Mortimer and Victus flying by sheer force of momentum rather than anything else. They're soon caught by Aeris and Ignia though and glided toward the group.

I appear from being cloaked and say, "I shall be observing the events that are to forego."

 

Crystal seems satisfied with himself and relaxes.

"More to join us?"
I ask out loud.

 

"Those were some other guardians helping out in the city. They seem pretty cool." Abigail says, walking over.
