Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

Ihra pokes Stephanie again.

"Aj, do you speak whatever vbbhm means?"

 

"Agh'nn rahg gff'vd!" Stephanie says, annoyed.

"What?" I ask, confused.

 

"Stephanie, common tongue please!"

"Here, listen in." Ihra says, allowing you to hear Stephanie's blabber.

 

"Shanyg gthha myah'gth!" Stephanie says, frustrated, "Yyagh'th jjabg vhha'rba llapca'rr vvahrbi'ik!"

"Sounds like some monstery eldritch nonsense or something." I comment.

 

"Stephanie... what language are you speaking? Aj says it sounds like 'some monstery eldritch nonsense,' so..."

"Please just come here..."

 

"Shanyg. gthha. myah'gth, YYAGH'TG JJABG VHHA'RBA LLAPCA'RR VVAHRBI'IK!" Stephanie repeats loudly, frustrated.

"Can't you like...come here instead?" I ask.

Buddy is trying to get a bite of the roasted rabbit.

 

Ihra just gives up, opens a portal to shore, then drags Stephanie and herself into the portal.
"AJ!" Ihra calls out, shouting.

 

"Hjjay'gha teraf!" Stephanie protests.

A bit of a distance away, multiple small sand castles appear to be stacked on top of one another.

 

"AJ, GET OVER HERE!"
Ihra keeps dragging herself and Stephanie in what she presumes to be your direction.

 

Stephanie tries to get out of Ihra's grip, annoyed at how she's being treated.

"Huh?" I ask, standing up in the pile of shaped sand.

 

Ihra releases Stephanie.
"COMMON TONGUE THIS TIME."

 

"Ghau'bjo hhr'fy jagha bnva'kka!" Stephanie shouts.

 

Ihra turns to you.
"Please help me." She groans.

 

"How? I have no idea what she's saying." I say.

"Kal'ekha..." Stephanie says in a tone that would indicate an insult.

 

Ihra kicks sand up at Stephanie with her tail.
"Then what do we do with her? We can't have her help like... that!"

 

Stephanie seems especially annoyed by this.

"Hey Stephanie, you look really cool. I like the whole darkness and grimness of you." I say, smiling.

"Hhjayk ka'gvx iiopha er'kah!" Stephanie says happily.

 

Ihra seems to have vanished...


Ihra walks up to Myria, flustered.
"I give up. Stephanie's speaking weird."

 

Myria puts her hand up, clearly in the middle of adjusting Artemis' bow stance.

A short moment later, Myria lowers her hand, "Yes?" She asks.

 

"You'll see when Stephanie gets here. I'm done. The others are coming." Ihra sighs, walking over to Sgavrinn and flopping on him, waking him with a start.
