Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

Ihra hesitates, then runs deeper into the darkness, staff glowing.

 

Upon getting deep into the darkness, Ihra can make out Stephanie lying asleep on a stone bench, clutching her tome. Stephanie looks rather different, however. Her skin appears much darker than before, and an aura of darkness surrounds her. A faint red glow of a circle resides around the bench.

 

Ihra looks at her, then just walks off.
She tries to link tovyou telepathically.
"Aj, where are you? We need to kill things and make friends."

 

"In my new castle on the shore." I respond happily.

 

"I'll just tell Rineth to look for it. How do I wake Stephanie up, by the way?"

 

"I don't know, shake her a bit and tell her to?" I ask, confused.

 

"She's like all dark and red-glowey and stuff. She seemed pretty much KO'd."

 

"What? Well, I really don't know. Splash her with water?" I suggest, confused.

 

"Can you just come look?" Ihra asks, moving back towards the darkness.

 

"But I have to defend my castle. Someone might come and steal it from me." I say, sounding childish.

 

"Rineth?" Ihra offers, sounding impatient.
"Come on. Stephanie looks like she's half dead."

 

"Poke her with a stick and see if she's dead, then." I say jokingly.

 

Ihra heads back and pokes Stephanie with her staff.

 

Stephanie groans a bit, stirring slightly.

 

Ihra pokes her again.
"Stephanie, we gotta go places."

 

Stephanie groans, waking up slowly. She keeps a tight grip on her tome, however, the eye on it black and purple.

 

"Come on, Steph." Ihra says.

"It worked." Ihra tells you.

 

"Knew it would." I say proudly.

Stephanie groans, sitting up.

"Geidng, ddowr werg fghwah?" Stephanie says in a strange language.

 

"Uhm... Stephanie? Are you okay?" Ihra asks, attempting to use a translation spell.

 

"Shhaguh othj argt vrrj hwez." Stephanie says, even Ihra's translation spell unable to make out what she's saying.

"Jhhaf Yasd wer vbbhm?" Stephanie asks.
