Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

Myria's looking away, toward the city with a hand on her head. She appears to be almost attempting to look into the city, not just toward it.

 

"You literally either have that or he kills you..."

After a minute, Kailee bumps into Myria, then immediately just drops to the ground, holding her breath.

 

Myria spins around moments before Kailee bumps into her, staring her down.

 

Kailee still has her eyes squeezed shut, then sloppily etches something.
"Sari
Sesil say yur nise"

 

Myria remains silent, watching, waiting.

 

Kailee suddenly goes bug-eyed, losing her balance and gasping for air before trying to collect herself again.

 

Myria simply watches, unmoving.

 

Kailee, embarrased, slinks backwards.

"I can't do it. Scythe lady won't let me apologize."

 

"Well, everyone would go silent at a stumbling dragon."

 

Myria just seems unimpressed, turning back to the city.

 

"She won't even look at my writing. Is it really that bad?"

Kailee approaches again, though not as close as she looks at her writing in the ground.

 

Myria doesn't seem to even pay Kailee any attention, instead focused on looking toward the city.

 

Xephyr makes her presence known with a temperature drop.
"Miss Myria? Uhm... I-is now a bad time?" She asks, glancing at Kailee awkwardly.

 

"Well, now she's occupied with Xephyr."

 

"After she's done could you at least ask her to stop looking like she's going to kill me?"

 

"I'll try."

 

"Not especially. What do you want?" Myria asks calmly, her voice soft.

 

"Thanks...
...Hey, Cecil? How'd you summon me, anyways?"

"Okay... I just wondered if you know where Avis ran off to. She stayed back after I went to the city."

 

"By my tome?"

 

"Avis?" Myria asks, confused.
