To get the good ending, do I need to spare all the monsters and visit the True Lab?


But seriously, I do think I know what's coming, and I have no idea how to stop it other than some weird time stuff or violence.

So getting the good ending voids the storyline?

 

That good ending is an alternate. It cuts out about an entire arc.

Then you have to go through a really tough spot to actually get the good ending.


But it's not the true ending. You actually kill things for that.

Also, Vei was lazy last time with the watch. She didn't have enough energy to use Chrononegation, which would allow her to kill you in every timeline faster than you could drive Shadow Katana through Ihra's seal. In fact, you wouldn't even have time to move.

In fact, the canon true ending involves more than half the characters dying.

 

Or, at a rather risky cost, you could simply reverse time for yourself. You'd need to go into the future, then come back to the present and wind the clock back from your future to the present. It'd allow you to (hopefully) alter the timeline so you'd never get any of the damage. If you were to be stabbed, the wound would instantly disappear because you're moving backwards in time, and so you couldn't be harmed. If you don't manage to stop the threat before you hit the crossover point (When the present catches up with your point in time) you'd start getting hurt. If you got stabbed early on, later on the stab wound would appear because that's when you were actually stabbed.

Or you could just do that with the victim, so in this case stabbing Ihra, and it would heal like nothing happened. You'd look completely innocent while killing the target in the future.

Or, for saftey purposes, you could lock yourself onto the current timeline, and replace yourself with a self from another timeline. You'd be shifted onto the timeline where that self dies, and be replaced as the self for the saftey purposes; creating a loop.

But, as I said, no time stuff. There's probably an alternate solution that doesn't involve messing with time like that to get your solution.

1) Chrononegation is what it sounds like; it freezes time for everyone, exempt her.

2) The alternate route to a good ending involves coaxing somebody to refuse to participate in a ritual, killing their friends, and then betraying (killing) them.

Step one would be finding them, if you want to go down that route.

I hate those games that force you onto the bad ending, and you have to do something so specific at a certain time that it's impossible to stumble upon without looking it up; and then you restart the game and get the good ending..."

"I don't think we can restart this game though, considering it doesn't have save files or anything."

I feel like I've inadvertently steered my actions in a way that makes it work. So, I guess that works.

Also, Reflet isn't all fire shenanigans, she also does regular magic like most mages.

So she's a crazy mehgical blacksmith mechanist goddess of fiery death and destruction yey.

Obvious abilities:
Teleportation
Levitation
Telepathy

Less obvious:
Dimension flipping: She can basically flip herself (or someone else if she wanted to) into a separate dimension. She mostly uses it to flip herself into the 1st dimension to eavesdrop on people, as she'd be the thinnest of lines possible. Of course, she can only see the slightest of blurs like this, so...

Life aura detection/machinery detection: Basically lets her sense life. She can't detect everything, though, and some things completely block her ability to do this./ She can sense machinery and analyze how it works.

Mind reading: Pierces people's minds and reads their thoughts and memories. The person who's being read can feel the attack and block it by just focusing on something else.

Soul-splitting: Splits her soul... Obviously. Useful if she wanted to uhh... She wanted to... Block attacks with her soul? Theoretically be alive past death? Her split soul can transfer a fraction (based on how much of her soul she split) of her powers to others, as well as grant her (very very very) limited consciousness after death and communication with anyone near it. It weakens her if she uses it so she obviously rarely does it, and if she does, only she only splits roughly 1/+500th of her soul, just enough to start the emotions of her creations. If the soul dies, as was when the Watchers were killed, she goes through pain.

Faelar can do everything except that last one. No mortal can really do it without killing themselves.

They aren't just your burden. I'm sad too ;-; Rip Vei, the first victim of Aj's brutal and cowardly slaughter of innocent creatures with the only desire of protecting the ones they love. In this episode, Aj stops time and takes a you- okay *cough* seven thousand year old seven year old girl hostage and holds her at knifepoint. The girl's mother, with no other option, kills herself to avoid any harm coming to her daughter. The young girl has now lost one of her parents, soon to be an orphan with no one who loves her, forever alone in her world of a billion sorrows...

Okay I'll stop.

 

This is why Shadows are often associated with death and destruction. Nobody can truly overcome instict, I guess.

I'm not even gonna ask what a Fennekin is... although I'd assume it has something to do with the element iron (fe).
