Use /clone To Make Things Look More Realistic

Use /clone to make flags and fire look more animated. It doesn't seem very interesting with a flag that just hangs.

This isn't viable outside of cutscenes. So if you want a cutscene to somehow trigger every time you look at a flag, be my guest.

A more grandiose alternative could be introductory cutscenes for each new city you visit, but that's a whole different idea

yea, idk too much what you really mean and anyway it won't be implemented if you don't do any effort :/, even the stuff that have a lot of effort put into it, a lot of supporters and even the owners support still aren't in the game!

Frame 1:
/clone X Y Z X Y Z X Y Z

Then build Frame 2 somewhere else and do the same command.

Put the actual animated structure somewhere else than the frames.

Then just put the 2 commands in a redstone clock.

@AdventurerOfWynn You do realize that for every block update and redstone clock tick, thats a little more lag for the average player. I'm lucky enough to have a good PC now, but with my old one i'd crash instantly if everything was animated

 

I do understand, but they probably wont put it in spawn chunks

 

I understand how this would be a neat feature. However it take time to make them and it may cause the server to lag more.

Actually, this might work. We use script to test when someone is in a certain area, which activates a redstone clock which tests for when someone is looking at the flag.
