(unofficial) Wynncon 2016 Event Thread

I can see why you might want to be there. I had an awesome view of the whole stage from JAIL!

 

I still want all the speeches, except for Grian's (because that's private and I already saw it).
I was a doof and my computer ran out of battery power right before Hoke's speech ):

 

Luckily, I got screenshots of a lot of speeches(including Grians, but it's supposed to be a secret for only people who saw it). I think I may have missed a sentence, but here is the full one:

Ok, so, I never really had time to make up a speech, so I don't have much to say. But I will be talking quickly about how being a part of this community has kinda changed my life. i stand in front of all of you here today...with so much courage to speak my mind, and the courage that you won't judge me for being me. But I wasn't really always like that, in fact. Before I joined this community, I closed myself off from the rest of the world. Entirely. The only ones I spoke to were my friends. When I first joined the server, back in December 2013, I was a bit nervous to even interact with people. To be honest, I sat there wondering how I could make friends. Then, in February 2014, I joined the forums, and I was still nervous. Everyone else was talking like they'd known each other for years. Then, I got a message, on my profile, from Fibunny, whom you may know as an old mod who resigned. It said, "Hey, I noticed you were here for a few months, and nobody has introduced you." Then they introduced me, and welcomed me. I felt so happy about that. Although while now, I may be a lot less shy, I also have the freedom to speak my mind. And to be honest, that's something I was working on many years before I joined Wynn. If it wasn't for that, I would have never been able to learn so much about myself. So really guys, thank you for being there for me in the past, and thank you for the past years of my life that changed me.

It was actually one of the best speeches done, and I think most of the community would agree.

Unfortunately I missed part of Ackro's, and I'd rather not say Grians, even though I saved a copy of it for the future. Although it's allowed, Grian didn't want us to share it.

 

Don't worry about Grian's, I already know it.
I just want the other's - excluding Jamie's - saw that one too.

 

The funny thing is, I thought it up off the top of my head lol

 

Yeah, you said that at the beginning, but it still looked like you'd prepared for it.
