Undertale

I've only seen "Let's Plays" of it so far, yet I'm trying to get it on my computer (The Penguin of Linux is an evil one). I'd say from what I've seen, it's an amazing game and one of my favourites. I must admit, my favourite music is Bonetrousle (Papyrus's Blue Attack), and my favourite character is (obviously) Papyrus.

Oh, and imagine this text is in Papyrus font.

Undertale Easter Egg #1

Spoiler: Name the Fallen Human.

When prompted to name your character at the beggining of Undertale, try entering the name of a main character (Examples: FLOWEY, UNDYNE, BLOOKY) and you may get a special message from its owner.

Undertale Easter Egg #2

Spoiler: Spooky Tunes.

After encountering the Mad Dummy and having it scared off by Napstablook, follow him to his house. Enter his house and play one of his CDs (at the bottom of his house). Then leave his house and head south to the save point for a special encounter.

Undertale Easter Egg #3

Spoiler: Sans' Room.

Warning: Spoilers Inbound
The following easter egg takes place late-game and contains spoilers, I suggest completing a run of Undertale first to avoid spoilers.

Spoiler: Sans' Room.

On a Pacifist run when Sans explains Exp and Love in the last corridor, wait for him to finish then reload your save 3 more times; letting him explain Exp and Love each time. Sans will then realise you've already heard it and give you his room key. You can then go back to Snowdin and enter his room.

Undertale Easter Egg #4

Spoiler: The Mysterious Door.

The Mysterious Door in Snowdin CAN be opened. In order to do so, you'll need to complete the "True Pacifist" run of Undertale.

When entering the credits sequence, do not highlight any of the credits. After this, reload your save and head back to the door. It should be open, and able to be entered.

 

I've seen the boss, and I just personally am not a fan of the boss itself; it isn't terribly unique or too challenging, unlike Muffet(and I haven't even found the other backer character yet so idk about that one) but So Sorry...sure, it's kinda funny, and I love that swingin' track, but the fight itself isn't much, and I think more could've been done with it that just wasn't. The fetishistic origins of the character wasn't reflected ingame, and his real name wasn't said anywhere, so good on Toby for protecting the minors while still keeping the design, but honestly I just feel like they could've made something better out of it.

I mean weird as in he has odd proportions.

 

Maybe he's a midget? It's probably Video Game Logic though: it's a video game, it can do what it wants (the main antagonist is a flower, a FLOWER).

Bonus Undertale Easter Egg:

Spoiler: Backstabbing.

With certain enemies you encounter, you can reach a point with them where they'll "Spare" you, or become friends with you. When you reach this point, don't spare them and choose the pacifist route, instead, attack them. If done correctly, you'll instantly kill them and a special event will happen regarding what you did. (This is also where the Sans' meme "Get dunked on" comes from, if you choose to spare Sans when he spares you).

Spoiler: Examples

Spoiler: Toriel

When fighting Toriel, keep sparing her until she says "Ha, pathetic. I cannot save even a single child". Upon attacking her at this point she will comment on how you chose to attack her at her weakest moment and will be instantly killed.

Spoiler: Shyren

When you encounter Shyren, keep selecting "Hum" in the act menu. If you keep humming, then she'll start to "Hum" even faster. When you reach the point where the attacks appear to be at their fastest, attack Shyren to instantly kill her and have her change to something different.

Spoiler: Muffet

Survive the battle with Muffet up until the point where she receives the information about you and the spiders in the ruins. She will then "Spare" you in appreciation. Attack her to instantly kill her, and the spider who held the signs will come to pay their respects.
