Needless to say, I spent my Halloween inside, playing Deltarune, ignoring homework and upcoming SAT this Saturday.
Act 2 cannot come fast enough.

 

The entirety of the demo was way more than is required for a demo. In fact, it is basically a full game, for free. Toby Fox has seriously outdone himself!

It is a good read, Toby was very genuine and honest about his responses.

Unfortunately, it looks like the further chapters will take some time. But just the "demo" itself was jam packed with content. Hope it will be worth the wait.

That’s a little unfortunate that there aren’t going to be multiple endings. It’s what was half of the charm of the UT and made it unique in terms of how your choices affected the game.

I don’t blame Toby at all, and it’s a good game nonetheless and has better combat and more mechanics than UT.

 

It’s just that those kind of choices also made you care more about story and the characters.

Btw, I’m also really curious how the next chapters are going to turn out bc Toby is going to now work with a team for the first time. Not that it’s a bad thing, quite the contrary, but the game will probably feel a lot different than the demo in the end. Just pointing it out.

 

I just finished playing Deltarune, and I am absolutely in love with it. Toby took what was already there, and expanded so freaking much on it. He listened to complaints, took feedback, and gave us this polished gem of a game. Truly, I cannot wait for the next game, because I want to see more of the characters and I want to know what happens next, but I'll be patient

Chara must either be Kris or Frisk possessed her. Kris’ overworld clothing looks like Charas if you notice. Thats thr one thing i noticed when i played through.
the game is very creepy overall, one of the parts that freaked me out was Susie trying to eat the player’s head off.

Forget the rest of the game, I want all enemies in the next chapters to be like this dude

 

he can do ANYTHING

 

Including being the only real fun battle in the game
except for K round, that guy is also good
