Two Kings In Wynn!?

I mean, I just always thought of it as a bunch of city-states in a province because of their heritage and the need for it (corruption and other things).

 

In this thread there are two things to clear up.

1) Citystates can have individual rulers.
2)

 

Thesead's Mayor is female, she says that she is.

 

Corkus has no specific form of government, no monarch, oligarch, president, mayor or chief. Yet Avos had a chief leader

Gavel only has 2 mayors and a queen, however, the queen controls a faction / clan / guild while the mayors work together. Gavel has more of a city-state due to different governments

Fruma probably has a monarchy, as state by the Fuman guard

Wynn has some sort of "kingdom" or city-state thing going on due to different leaders and governments.

The king of troms is actually a woman with a beard, shethought everyone knew she was a woman, and everyone else was sure ahe was a man, so it never came up in conversation.

Wynn is not a centralised state, and various regions have great degrees of autonomy. This is made clear by the fact that only Gavellians and Corkians seem to see the player as a Wynnian, while other Wynn residents see them as from Ragni. While the actual politics of Wynn, Gavel and to a certain extent Corkus are not explicitely stated apart from that Ragni and Troms are monarchies, we can make guesses at the rest of Wynn.
Almuj probably operates as a merchant republic, with the wealthy as in charge. We can see this in the symbolic organisation of the city - the bank is artificially elevated, with the poorer folk seen in the new Craftmas Quest set up on the outskirts.
Detlas is an interesting case, being sort of the capital, but without any central political buildings within its limits. I choose to think that Detlas is not controlled by any person or organisation, but is guided by the influence other parts of Wynn and Gavel.
Nemract is entirely reliant on the help of Ragni and Almuj, and therefore has no political power of its own. As the only port on mainland Wynn, most of its services are exploited by other regions in return for protection.
Rymek is probably an anarchy largely separated from Wynnic affairs.
Selchar is probably similar to Detlas, as its 'Sister City'.
Various regions are controlled by tribal chiefs, such as Bremminglar, the Owl and Eagle tribes of the Mesa and the various jungle tribes.

I'm not going to get into Gavel. Yet.

 

i wonder how this started as a random kingship question, then turned in a gender discussion, then we move to rulers in Gavel, and then some1 randomly wrote a wall text with the essential answer but no one cares cause now everyone is thinking who of the thesead and eltom mayors is the female in the ex-relationship

 

Wynn is a province, not a nation. Politics probably function like traditional medieval ones; every city is a state, but you may travel freely in between.
