Before you lay down, the little girl runs back int the room, holding a bundle in her hand and balancing a pillow on her head.
She hands the bundle (blanket) over to you.
"What's your name?" (And are you Male of Female asks the professor.)

I'm... a goblin, with a somewhat typical look for that. Aside from general racial traits, I'm not particularly muscular and fairly wiry. I have an almost perpetual grin and a small scar on my cheek (from the already-mentioned wolf in my backstory). I have a small, messy mop of black hair, which is often hidden under the hood of my cloak. I'm wearing a cloth tunic and pants, and have no shoes.

Anything else aside from looking out the window?

 

I'm tired enough that I'll just go to sleep, using my cloak as an improvised blanket in addition to the normal bed.

 

You lay down and wrap you cloak around you. Resting your head on your arm, you fall into a light sleep...

"Water's there."
She runs into the hallway that the other women disappeared in.
Smiling as she leave, you lay down. The blanket's a bit small and the couch and pillow are a bit rough but it's better than what you remember... what do you remember.. actually? You don't know.
Settling down after a while, you fall asleep.

The spell that binds people in ropes and can be used to control ropes.

Oh and it's an Egyptian Divine Word so it drains you majorly without some sort of boost.

And let me get this right.
Saying 'Tas' will summon ropes which she can control, or control pre-existing ropes. It will take... 20% of maximum energy? And use 0.05% for every minute it's active? Or do you want to change the numbers around?
(And egypt probably doesn't exist here so you may need to find a different way to explain what it is. >.>)

I wasn't sure if this was made clear but for abilities and flaws, it must be worded into your backstory. But if you just wanted to have a knife or a pebble or a book on you just because, give me a reason on why you have it and I'll give it to you. (If no reason is given/thought of, more FP is needed)

 

So iirc, it should actually use up like 70-80% of your energy unless you have something aiding you like if you're hosting a god / goddess or if you have a talisman of some sort. The best divine being to host for spells is Isis (. . .). I do not believe however that uh, these Egyptian divine beings would exist. It doesn't use up anymore energy after casting the spell but only lasts until you cast another spell or you get knocked unconscious, or you just don't use it after a couple minutes.

It summons ropes which she can control but she can also control pre-existing ropes. Like I said, ancient spells are powerful but taxing.

Now uh, let's try to find a way to implement this without using the word "Egypt".

So, basically, at a young age (age 6), she was in for a rude awakening and got abducted by slaveholders. However, after being taken to the place where all the abducted slaves were gathered from this band, a group of vigilante (I really like that word) sages came in and attacked the band of slaveholders either killing them off or letting them flee. A lot of the abducted slaves thanked the sages and went back to their respective homes. However, when they came across Raya, she could not seem to name or locate where her home was for she was very young and wasn't aware of half the location names. So they took her in to take care of her. At first, they tried to see if they could find her parents, her home, etc. but they failed. So they ended up teaching her the ways of magic written on ancient writings from several lost, unnamed civilizations long ago. The spells were able to alter reality, give her an edge over others, but they were taxing on energy. One time, Raya got too curious of a powerful spell she was instructed not to use, and so she got cursed of being stuck at the age 14 forever. Because of this, she was exiled from the group and now we're here.

Actual Combat is Arya's flaw because she was never really taught how to fight without magic. She self taught herself how to use the battle staff because staffs make summoning magic like 10% easier and she kinda knows the bow because she sees the bow as the normie version of shooting spells so she took interest in it.

Infinite iirc

The summoned ropes are average size and can't be summoned any larger. However, she can control an infinite length of rope.

Like if I imagine it correctly, about 5 - 20 ropes (depending on the size of the target).

Complete telekinetic control over the ropes.

You simply will it.

If I imagine it correctly, slightly slower than the speed of a full drawback arrow from a wooden recurve bow.

They instantly carry them out (unlike the sad 2 second delay on Shardaic Mage . . .RIP)

2FP (even though the cost is pretty high because it's utitliy is OP. What's stopping you from casting it once and never uncasting it for the rest of the day?)
New clauses for fairness:

• Spell is also canceled if you aren't concious
• Max control: 10 ropes (not including summoned ropes)
• No max length/size of ropes
• 5-20 ropes can be summoned and controled. (These summoned ropes are average)
• and this (a length of strong cord made by twisting together strands of natural fibers) will be my definition for rope

And, uh, yeah. That's tiny balancing. Is that fine?

 

Actually, it uncasts automatically if you don't use it afterwards for like 30 seconds.
