I think I have an idea on how I could have it, but I have no idea on how to make it into a backstory longer then 2 sentences and it wouldn't even be good

After being bitten and turned into a monster, I noticed that the beasts blood that now runs through me has enhanced my senses to that of its own, allowing me to now see in the dark and also have superior smell and hearing.

Does that work? I also added some extra thigs because they just seemed that they fit with this.

 

Is this for making it as if you can see though the darkness as if it was day? Or can see better than most others in the dark?

It wouldn't be a completely clear imagine so I wouldn't be able to tell what something was far away but I can see shapes just fine but no detail.
Example: if I see a human figure in the dark about 20 meters away from me I couldn't tell it's gender or race but I would see that there is someone there

Humans have natural night vision. Goblins can just see slightly better with it, and for them, it activates much faster.
