"At this point I have a feeling that you are not going to leave me alone until I go with you" I cautiously take the sandwich

 

She pauses to think for a moment.
"Should I leave you alone?"

 

"I don't know?"

 

"Do you want me to leave you alone?"

 

"I mean... not really. Just won't your mother be mad?"

 

"She disappeared."

 

"What do you mean disappeared. She just vanished?"

 

She nods. Then she turns and heads for the door.

 

I guess I try to follow

 

You arrive near the area of the flames. You see three distinct groups. Guys on the left, girls on the right, as well as a bigger group surrounding them all. There seems to be only a bit over 70 people in this entire town.

The last of the fires flicker out, and it all goes dark again.
You hear someone chant.
"The night is followed by the day. In the darkness, a star flickers. It shines brilliantly upon us. Illuminate."
(Raya's gonna be special with no chants for her spells. xD)
A small ball of light shines in the middle of everyone, before raising to the air and growing larger. It's the only light you see in the area.


Erm. I will say rn, that this entire RP will practically be in darkness. >.> If anyone has a reason to have DarkVision, I highly recommend it. xD
Also, there's a new change to the Fate System. Flaws no longer need lore (to make it easier), but it is much appreciated.

 

Eh, I'm pretty sure there's a spell for light that takes basically 10% of energy. And it doesn't expire on the next spell casted... Just lasts based on the caster's stamina . . .

Wait shit there are two things that can do that.

Okay there's a Norse Rune which casts a floating fire that relies solely on the casters stamina and there's a Greek Spell that requires a magical item to cast the light upon which only takes like 10% energy...

So I would go for the Greek Spell but Raya doesn't exactly own her battle staff at this point of time because I still need to spend Fate Points on that so I'll just go for the Norse Rune if I feel like I need it.

Oh and Raya is gonna continue to wait it out and doesn't really care about anything yet...

Her role alignment would be Neutral Chaotic at this point of time.

 

Or just have Kayla light her the way and change her role alignment to Purely Good or whatever.

Valkas is a goblin who lived in a goblin warren, before (undecided event here). Maybe goblins have innately good night vision.

 

Somehow, Valkas' reaction had me dead lol.

 

Valkas wants nothing to do with this crazy magic stuff. He just wants to find a job. It's like Thorston, my character, in HMTN's Generic Fantasy RP: Thorston is just a pickpocket trying to get rich, but that's hard to do while the cities (this is the second one so far) are burning down around him.
