Aam: "Removed an obstactle?"
She looks confused about why you asked.

"She disappeared. Alot of them did." she says solemly.
"..."
She smiles again and pulls on your hand.
"Let's go eat!"

 

"Wait what do you mean by that"

Alesol: "It seems you have a lot of... explaining to do. Starting with why you were in the crate in the first place and why I shouldn't send you to the authorities this instant."
Alesol just looks tired of the shenanigans at this point.

 

OOC: What do you mean?

Valkas: "...I'm just going to go now."

 

Alesol: "It would probably be best for you to do that. I'll trust you not to steal anything, as I have enough on me plate to deal with as is."

 

Valkas nods and leaves the room.

 

Okay, I need to advance this towards everyone else. >.> I'mma pretend you started really late at night.
You see a dim glow on the horizon. Seems like the sun's coming up.

Oooor it's a fvcking fire. You just kinda look at it until you feel someone tugging at your clothes. Looking down, you see a tiny child, male. He's crying.
"What's going on?"

She pauses for a moment.
"Eating? Food?"

"Cause there's no authority left? I just said so."

OOC: What do I mean about what? (Also, I'll add the flaw once I get off mobile)

"You sure? People outside don't seem to be... stable."
Aamalso starys to walk out, but infront of Valkas.

 

Why did you laugh?

Valkas: "You've been locked in the crate until now. Probably."
Valkas: "How did things change this quickly?"

 

Wait... what are you concerned about?

"The fire? The people? Or me?"
She turns around to look at you and offers a coy smile while walking backwards.

 

I guess we'll see what happened to the authorities then...

Alesol: "And the reason you're packed in a crate and shipped like cargo?"

I'll walk out as well, mainly following Aam.

Alesol: "And what do you mean about that?"

 

I'm concerned that Aam will overshadow our characters as the chosen one/main character/whatever and become a Mary Sue. Yes, that's an actual thing.

Valkas: "What fire?"

Nah. If I had a character for that it would be... either the guy who @Azura first met or the girl with @BlueSlimerino. Althougu, this is assuming that they survive long enough to help.
They may be my favorites (for now) but they won't become OP or the main character. The story, for the most part, will still revolve around you guys (aside from things you can't deal with rn, such as gods. >.>)
Should I tell you why the elf hsd a sudden change, even though she was captured?

What fire? Please don't tell me she had something to do with that.
Alesol: "I guess you may as well explain all three, starting with the fire."

 

I would like to know what's going on with the elf.

Valkas: "I need to see this."
Valkas goes outside and looks.

Basically, for the elf, she's weak af. Only knows one spell (wow. invisiblility). Therefore, she was timid af, since you two could have done anythijg to her. When she disappeared, she was searching the boat for an item. This item grants the user combat knowledge. The reason she has this item is because, even though she has a... "large pool of mana" she doesn't know how to use it. Thus, the special item. (It's a choker btw). The reason she needs to know this combat knowledge is because she was supposed to guard an area (for the elves). Evidently, she failed. This is because the knowledge that the item gives is stagnant. You can improve but she can't.
She's supposed to go back as fast as she can but she decided to help you two first since you helped her out of the box. Thus, the killing of the other sailor (which I think screws Alesol over). She will leave soon. >.>
That's the bare bones of it.

"For the fire... just head outside."
"As for the people..."
She shrugs.
"They're restless."

You both head outside to see the tallest building covered in flames. The flames seem to be contained in a single area. With a crackle (and maybe a sizzle or two) the building collapses. You can even hear the cheers from here.

 

Raya glances first at the kid and then at the fire.

"..Nothing of your worry.. Just don't go to the light.."

And with that, she heads in the direction to the fire.

 

I'm still curious why she decided it was a good idea to steal a random guy's tattered old cloak. Or is she so desperate that she really needs an old kitchen knife?

Valkas facepalms.
Valkas: "What is even..."

 

For future reference: They weren't the same person.
There was the person who stole your cloak.
And then there was the elf stuck in a box.
