I think an Investigator would be more interesting than a Sheriff in this - can't differentiate between the vigi and the mafioso but can identify survivors. In this one it's pot luck for the Mafioso - if the sheriff happens to visit them it's over - survivors have no reason to claim sheriff.

Yes, you should try hosting a 24/7 Mafia game while having several obligations and school in the way. That would definitely not make you want to quit forums for a day or two before coming back.

@Wynn: The Anime , you may run into some problems timewise if people actually lynch in your game.
This is due to the one day long phases.

For example, my phases go from 8:00 PM PST to 8:00 PM PST the next day.
However, if someone is voted up during lynching phase, let's say at 4:00 PM PST, I now have to wait for this person to respond for their defense. I usually give them 24 hours to respond with a defense but if they were voted up let's say at 1:00 AM PST, I would have some problems.

Then, after they do their defense, I have to give a whole another 24 hours for everyone to vote to accomodate for every time period.
Plus, if they are voted innocent, I have to give the town the amoutn of time they have left to vote another person for their remaining two trials.
Thing can get really chaotic with these semi strict phases.
