Mayor reveal D1 means they would get killed first though, right?
Also, no leads so mayor would just do some vfr.

Since D1-3 will probably have little action until a TI decides to claim (or @Azura does some scum reading. .-.)

 

D1 reveal = protected by jailor, who tells identity to mayor, so mayor is safe and knows some stuff, also transports, bodyguards, lookouts, etc... so certanly safe to reveal D1.

 

Huh. That does make sense.
But what' the difference between them revealing D1 or D2? Or maybe D3?
W/out reveal, Jailor gets to interrogate people and execute
W/reveal, Jailor is kinda shut down due to having to jail Mayor each night
W/out reveal, no one gets voted up
W/reveal, we vfr because of the current lack of information

So with a reveal, mayor now knows who Jailor is. How does this help D2?
Unless I'm missing something obvious here? xD

 

My house's door was just locked from the outside by some troll. I'm honestly not sure what you were expecting.

 

N1 jailor cannot kill anyone anywasy so mayor is a useful role to jail n1, and if reveals sooner, less chance of investigatives and escorts wasting turns checking the mayor

 

Eh, some mayors (like me) like to stay silent the whole game until their triple vote is necessary or they found easy scum reads.

Other mayors (me when I want to gamble) reveal day 1 to get jailed night 1 and initiate vfr for the win.

Both strats work just fine imo so just because a Mayor didn't reveal night 1 doesn't mean there isn't one.
